Tamarin Falls, also known as the Seven Cascades, is a collection of seven waterfalls located in the southwest of the island.

5.00We had wonderful time with Dan. Hiking without him would be impossible, he helped my 11 year son, taught him how he can become a better hiker, gave confidence to all of us. I cannot recommend him enough. This hike is not easy with a good guide, and Dan has made this hike one of the best days in our lives.

5.00We met Dan by chance while we were lost trying to find the starting point to do the 7 cascades route. He selflessly bring our attention to indicate how to reach the starting point (we were 1 km far). We started a chat with him and he told us he had an adventure company but he was on his day off, as i asked him to be our guide. I had a good feeling with him, indeed, we had met another guide with a client and this person didnt want to help us, we dont to pick him as guide but Dan crossed out in our paths. I can tell that our experience was much better than expected. He can do the route with his eyes closed. I cant recommend any other person than Dan. If i got again to Mauritius, i Will contact him for sure. Your spanish Friends!
Dan made the whole tour easier for us. He helped us with everything he could along the way.

5.00We hiked to the 7 Waterfalls site supervised by Priska from Thomson Adventures who showed great kindness to us and great professionalism. She knew how to listen to us and look after us because we had clearly specified our low maintained sports state for our young age of 50 😜 . Thanks to her, it was an experience, certainly sporting , but Magic in such a resourceful setting 🥰 Fortunately there are guides to avoid dangers. Thank you very much to Priska for fulfilling our dream ❤️

5.00A very nice experience shared with people of extraordinary kindness. We made the loop "medium", which gave us access to more than beautiful landscapes 🥰. Thanks to Prisca, Dan and Bryan for this great hike, their advice, explanations and patience 😅🥰! An activity that certainly has some cost but is definitely worth it! PS: The lift will take some effort 😅😂

4.00This hike is a stunning walk along the river with breathtaking views cross the valley. The waterfalls themselves are pretty high, and the more adventurous can throw themselves off some of them into the pools below. However, beware. This hike is not for the inexperienced or unfit. Despite being told it was easy, it is far from it, involving steep inclines through dense vegetation, with slippery rocks underfoot.

5.00We had a wonderful hiking experience with Priska on the short loop of Tamarind Falls. She was very friendly and supportive, she really instilled confidence in me as I can get nervous when there's difficult footing but I always felt very safe. She also took some lovely photos. I would also highly recommend the walk itself, it was definitely a high reward to effort ratio with stunning regular views of the waterfalls and forest as we descended. Make sure to book through their new website. Thank you Thomson Adventures!

5.00Many thanks to Dan for all his magical and rewarding discoveries. Hiking pleasures, sport and everything safe. We laughed, we liked all his discoveries full of knowledge thanks to Dan who taught us a lot. We caught them in the eye with breathtaking views, beautiful waterfalls, anecdotes and crazy laughter that we are not about to forget. If there's one person you can trust, it's Dan and his wife Pryska. They are both passionate and in love with nature and their island. I recommend Dan and Pryska you can only be delighted with your outings. Every outing was a joy, we were looking forward every day to receiving the next destination because we already knew that our day would be perfect. Looking forward to the next trip to discover more beautiful things. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart Dan for his days hiking with you, it was a real honor to know you. We will come back and this time with the children for new adventures even crazier. See you soon and thank you.

5.00Me and my wife planned to hike the Le Morne with a Guide. There we gladly found Daniel Thompson. We had an amazing trip, phenomenal photos and a lot of fun with him. He is an experienced guide and just a nice guy. We always felt safe because he cared a lot. Because of that we also did 2 other tours with him the days after. One in the south (Gris Gris) and the 7 waterfalls. We had amazing days and created unforgetable memories with him. I highly recommend to get on a tour with him.
