Trou aux Cerfs

Begin your 7-8 hours southwest scenic tour with a hotel pick-up anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet & be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding in your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop. You'll be heading to Trou Aux Cerfs which is one of the famous natural tourist attractions in Mauritius. The dormant volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters & a depth of around 100 meters. Unlike the typical volcanic features, Trou aux Cerfs’ crater is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 700 000 years; experts believe that there is a potential chance for it to become active again. Definitely, one of the main highlights is the 360-degree view of the town, Curepipe & the majestic view of Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis- Moka mountain range

Indian Ocean: Mauritius island a green dot in the blue of the Ocean, from the plane. Sea: blue, green, light blue, emerald! The colors change incessantly. With feet in the sand, the water arrives warm and pleasant for those coming from a cold and rainy February in Italy. We book with Tripadvisor (Viator), pay (very cheap compared to similar tours) and leave by private car for two people. Driver-Guide very professional and punctual. Watch your driving on the left! Clean and comfortable car with A/C. The tour touches all the beauties of the South of the Island (see itinerary): waterfalls, mountains, parks, turtles, birds, monkeys and the colorful lands of Chamarel and...green and green, almost primordial. Thank you for a wonderful day! Why leave again?

The driver was a little early with our agreement. It went perfectly well. Very nice, helpful and funny. Jayen was perfect. The tour matched the description and the knotted guide even found a typical Mauritian restaurant for our lunch which was not included because it was our wish. We enjoyed it. I recommend

This was an excellent South West tour and I would recommend it. The itinerary covered all the key sights in the southwest, with particularly memorable stops at Mare aux Vacoas (where the air was beautifully perfumed with incense) as well as Alexandra Falls and the Chamarel Seven Coloured Earth and waterfall, which were true highlights. The guide was punctual and attentive throughout the day, allowing sufficient time to take in the scenery. As a solo female traveller, I felt entirely comfortable and well looked after for the duration of the tour, which made the experience all the more enjoyable.

I had a wonderful time-- a great way to experience Mauritius. I did two of my bucket list activities though I had not anticipated it would be on this trip-- high bridge walk and zip lining. It was a thrill! My driver was really great, kind, friendly, patient, and relaxed. He allowed me time to enjoy the tour in a manner that was hurried. Thank you so much.

Pleasant and informative day. Departure at 8:30 from my hotel, punctual and proposed program for the day. The visits followed each other pleasantly, lots of knowledge and conversation always with listening.
