Trou aux Cerfs
Begin your 7-8 hours southwest scenic tour with a hotel pick-up anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet & be greeted by our certified guide and after boarding in your comfortable vehicle, then set off for your first stop. You'll be heading to Trou Aux Cerfs which is one of the famous natural tourist attractions in Mauritius. The dormant volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters & a depth of around 100 meters. Unlike the typical volcanic features, Trou aux Cerfs’ crater is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 700 000 years; experts believe that there is a potential chance for it to become active again. Definitely, one of the main highlights is the 360-degree view of the town, Curepipe & the majestic view of Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis- Moka mountain range

5.00Our driver Anoop was very knowledgeable on his beautiful island. Any questions we had he answered and he also engaged in conversations discussing other topics like football! Each location we visited was wonderful in its own way. We were impressed with how well organised the whole trip was, stopping at each point long enough to get the photo, enjoy the location for a few minutes then go!!

5.00We had a very nice day with Van who is a super professional and safe driver. He is also a very pleasant and polite person, accommodated all our needs and answered all our questions. The car was fairly new, very clean and comfortable.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Nawaz. The tour locations were well picked and gave us, as newcomers to Mauritius, a good introduction to this wonderful island. Nawaz was respectful and very knowledgeable, not just about the sites that we visited, but also about Mauritius in general; its history, demographics, economy, geography, etc. We would highly recommend this tour and also to book it close to the start of your visit/holiday as it will really help you to get your bearings.

5.00A great day with Nawaz! It was a great guide to give us lots of information about the whole day. We did all the places described in the activity and everything was perfect going from hole to deer , to the largest water reserve of the island , Alexandra waterfall as well as from the place of worship indouiste to chamarel! We learned a lot during this incredible day! Many thanks to Nawaz for this! We recommend with your eyes closed! NOT TO BE MISSED

Extinct volcanoes, waterfalls, and the impressive Seven Coloured Earth Geopark, Nawaz will show you all this and much much more, sharing great insights on the peoples and cultures of this paradise island.
