Your adventure begins at your hotel where you will be picked up and then go through the town of Curepipe to reach the top of Trou aux Cerfs crater to see an extinct volcano.
Then, head to Grand Bassin Hindu Temple which is surrounded by the crater lake of Ganga Talao. there you will have the chance to see the most prayed Hindu gods.
From the temple then drive to Black River Gorges National Park and Alexandra Waterfall to admire the breathtaking panoramas of the island's southern landscapes and mountains.
A final stop at the best and most prominent tourist attraction in Mauritius the 7 Colored Earth marvel awaits, complemented by the Chamarel waterfalls. Your journey concludes with a scenic drive back to your hotel.

Trou aux Cerfs
Explore the southern part of Mauritius in a 7hrs private day tour. The tour begins with pick-up anywhere in Mauritius. You will meet & be greeted by our driver/guide, then you are ready to set off for your first stop. You'll be heading to Trou Aux Cerfs which is one of the famous natural tourist attractions in Mauritius. The dormant volcanic crater is around 605 meters above sea level, with a diameter of 350 meters & a depth of around 100 meters. Unlike the typical volcanic features, Trou aux Cerfs’ crater is surrounded by a vast area of lush forest consisting of indigenous plant species and some giant green pine trees. It is believed that the Trou aux Cerfs erupted once and has remained dormant for the last 700 000 years; experts believe that there is a potential chance for it to become active again. Definitely, one of the main highlights is the 360-degree view of the town, Curepipe & the majestic view of Rempart Mountain, Trois Mamelles, and the Port-Louis-Moka Mountain range.
Afterward, head to Mare Aux Vacoas reservoir which has the honor of being the largest reservoir on the island with a capacity of almost 26 million cubic meters and is simultaneously a rather popular stop for tourists visiting the south of the island. Although nothing as fancy as the other attractions in Mauritius, Mare aux Vacoas is a gem hidden between lines of thick forests. It is the perfect place to spend a relaxing few minutes away from the usual hustle and bustle of the country. The reservoir even offers a rather amazing view worth several clicks.

5.00We had a great day with Nasser our driver to explore Mauritius. The car was comfortable and clean and Nasser was a good driver. We received interesting information along the way and at the places we visited. Unfortunately the weather was not great that day but Nasser adjusted the itinerary so that we still could enjoy the tour. We can highly recommend this company and our driver Nasser.

5.00What a wonderful tour of Mauritius! Ajay, our driver was waiting for us at the Cruise Terminal with a sign with our name on it, as promised, at the appropriate time. He made us comfortable in his air conditioned car and we headed off for our first destination. Ajay shared with us the history of Mauritius and many other interesting facts. We visited all the promised locations on the itinerary. Each location was beautiful and very interesting! Our favorite was the Black River Gorges overlook! It is one of the most beautiful valleys I have ever seen! We also enjoyed our visit to the Hindu Temple. Ajay explained about the Hindu Gods and beliefs. We stopped at a lovely restaurant for lunch (at our own expense). The local food was plentiful and delicious! We were able to buy lovely souvenirs at a nice shop. Then back to our ship in good time. This was a fantastic tour and we highly recommend it and especially Ajay!

5.00Wonderfully friendly and knowledgeable driver/guide Bilall showed us a beautiful Mauritius. Attentive to our preferences, adjusted the itinerary to include the stop we wanted at Casela. Careful to drop us back at the ship in time, even though the traffic was very busy.
A good introduction to what SW Mauritius has to offer.
