  I have driven with Ashley for 5 of my trips in Mauritius and would HIGHLY recommend him. He is punctual and acted as a tour guide as well. His patience whilst I was site seeing and shopping is unmatched.

  We had the best day exploring the beautiful island of Mauritius with Ashley today. He was communicative from the moment we booked. He was helpful, flexible and incredibly knowledgeable. He was so warm and friendly we didn't feel awkward or that we were an inconvenience. He accommodated us and was patient when we wanted to linger somewhere or visit some curio stalls. His English is excellent, communication is not a problem at all. I can, with confidence, recommend him to anyone considering booking with him to tour Mauritius.   Very nice day, explanations about the history of the island at the top, sharing of knowledge, advice, availability. Very serious and friendly person.   Ashley is very friendly, an excellent driver. And very comfortable car. He knows very well the history of Mauritius, his island. We learn a lot of things. Ashley and I have a lot of exchanges. Very nice meeting. I recommend.

  ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A MUST-BOOK Driver & Guide in Mauritius – Honest, Friendly & Truly Exceptional If you’re coming to Mauritius and looking for a tour or driver you can trust, stop searching and book this guy immediately. I originally wanted to book the North Tour, and another travel operator tried quoting me a ridiculous amount. Then I found Mauritius Local Taxi through Google reviews and photos — and honestly, choosing him was one of the best decisions of our whole holiday. From the first WhatsApp message, he was transparent, fair and completely honest. No inflated tourist prices, no pressure, no nonsense. Just the correct rate and genuine professionalism from the start. When we met him, he was even better in person. Polite, warm, friendly, and very easy to get along with. He instantly made me and my wife feel relaxed and welcomed. He took us everywhere we wanted to go, and he was more than happy to adjust the plans last-minute with no issues at all.   We made use of Ashley's taxi/tour guide service on two days in a week. Both were very pleasant experiences. He communicates in excellent English via WhatsApp and in the car. I needed to make some personal stops and he accommodated these very efficiently. All round a nice person, family man and the car plus driving were superb.

  Great taxi and guide who drives well , kind and smiling. He explained a lot to us during the transport. Very nice. I highly recommend and advised us a very good restaurant for lunch "The grapefruit ocean" .
