From secluded beaches, coral reefs and tropical gardens to a local animal rescue center, the Bay Island’s Interpretation Center and Ethnic Honduran Art Exhibit Center, Maya Key Roatan has something to offer everyone. Note: You can have an authentic island lunch at Maya Key. Just ask them to reserve you a plate and pay for it upon arrival. Last time we checked (January 30th, 2023) it was $15 per person. The lunch is not included with this reservation.

5.00Danny waited for us and even though we were late for our appointed time. He carefully drove us to our destination and was very thoughtful. He followed through on his commitment to us to make sure we had transportation back to the ship. Very reliable!!

5.00Our guide Daniel was fantastic. Came to meet us where our ship docked. Provided information via WhatsApp with photos to ensure we knew exactly were to meet him. Took us to a boat and arrived at Maya Key. We met the rescued animals and enjoyed our time with them including a sea lion who has lost his sight. Monkeys were very entertaining and interacted with us as we talked to them. Seeing some of the big cats was also fun. It's so nice to see how we care about those who are less fortunate than ourselves. We enjoyed ourselves and Daniel was super. Thank you Daniel.
