One of the most hiked mountain on shore Atitlan Lake. From that point it's possible to watch the sunrise and the volcanic chain of Guatemala. This mountain is also known as Indian Nose.

We are going to pick you up at some spots that we have as meeting point in San Juan la Laguna or San Pedro la Laguna. But, If you stay in a different village that we have not decribed here, may we can arrange your transfer or an any other conexion, it´ll has extra cost because we have to take you by boat. But everything is posible, just please let us know. This hike is one of the most requested tours we have. It is very accesible and short length, the trail has three sections, down, flat and the last part is steep, but it worth to watch an amazing sunrise from the top. We will see the volcanoes chain, lake atitlan and the villages surounded the lake. The transfer takes 30 minutes from San Juan or San Pedro to Santa Clara and then 35 minutes to hike up on the summit. After this tour we come back at the town in San Juan la Laguna and we serve you an delicious guatemalan breakfast and real local and organic coffee in our partner coffee shop with the lake view.

5.00Easy pickup despite me scheduling last second, contacted via WhatsApp. Easy hike if you are fairly fit, about an hour up. Very cold at the top, so need layers. Given bread and option of coffee or hot chocolate at the top. Beautiful, good guide.

5.00We were picked up on time and taken to the start of the hike. Both our driver and guide were friendly and spoke English. The hike up was relatively easy, we took multiple short stops along the way. Once at the top we were seated and provided with either hot chocolate or coffee while waiting for the sunrise. It was beautiful!!!! Worth the 4am departure. The way down was quick and easy. Breakfast was optional, if you took it you would have had to find your own way back to your hotel. We opted to not have it and take the ride. Overall a great experience.

5.00Xuan did an amazing job guiding us through this hike. Xuan was very patient and friendly. The view was worth it. I would bring headlamp and hiking sticks if needed as it is pretty dark. Overall, would recommend!!

4.00Juan, our guide, was amazing! Couldn’t have asked for a better guide. The only reason I’m giving four stars is that I was not aware that it’s dangerous to walk in San Pedro at night because of the dogs. I understand that the company only has certain pick up spots, but since we were only five people, a pick up closer to my hotel would have been preferred. Or if that is not possible, at least some resources on how to get to the spot at 4 am.

5.00We booked the day before and got a WhatsApp message towards the end of the day to organise the pickup. We got picked up around 3.50am at the pickup agreed and the experience was really smooth! There were 5 of us in total and our guide Juan was fantastic. The hike wasn't very difficult but Juan was very good at providing breaks along the way and checking everyone was ok. At the top, we had a brioche bun and a hot chocolate or coffee while waiting for the sun to rise, which was very welcomed (especially as it gets cold!!). The views were incredible and very much worth the early start! We then went back to San Juan in the shuttle and had a delicious typical Guatemalan breakfast with Juan and the group, on the waterfront. Worth knowing we had to make our own way back to our hotel from there, but we were told this in advance and it wasn't a problem for us! All in all, highly recommend and thank you Juan!

5.00I am not the best hiker but my guide Eduardo was so motivational and encouraging. The views at the top are so worth the hike! At the top they also had hot chocolate and bread.

5.00I have nothing but good things to say about the experience, and our guides Joel and Alejandro were the main reason for that. From the pick up to drop off, Joel and Alejandro were informative, and made sure our group was doing ok. When we got to the top, you have a choice of getting coffee or hot chocolate. we were provided with both thanks to them. They also offered to take pictures of us solo travellers with the sunrise view at the back. They also guided us through the harvest areas as you hike down the mountain so that was good to see! And to top it all off they take you to the most amazing restaurant in San Juan for an authentic Guatemalan food experience… hands down one of the most memorable parts of my trip to Guatemala!
