  Such a special place. We went one evening and were the only ones on the trip - the guide was absolutely lovely, explained the Mayan history and how important denotes are to them. We had the whole cavern to ourselves to swim. just deep blue water, fish, bats overhead and complete silence. The Mayan meal was delicious - and there was no rush at all. This was then followed by a Mayan blessing from a shaman. What a wonderful experience. I can’t even explain the beauty of this place - see for yourself.

  It was such a wonderful experience. Fortunately, I was the only one who booked for the evening, and I was the only visitor on the premises that evening. The guide was super sweet & he let me swim in the cenote by myself for about 15 min. Dinner afterwards was amazing. Definitely once in a lifetime type of adventure for myself. I do want to make note that the meeting point is the establishment itself. I finished around 9pm, make sure you have transportation back. They can call you a taxi, but it will be a little pricey.

  Our experience was half private. We ate alone (very well) but then we were put together with a group that was just going to see the cenote. So Viator doesn't explain well what it's like and creates confusion. There can be up to 20 people. But from the messy description in Viator, they had the deference to get my family in (there are 4), a little before the rest. The cenote is a sight, the staff very friendly. It just seems like the experience is just for your group and it's not like that

  This was a very memorable and meaningful tour. The whole experience is so authentic to the Mayan culture from the information in the tour to the structures that comprise the site to the food served afterwards, and mostly the closing Mayan ceremony. It's such a beautiful cave cenote with amazing lighting and viewpoints. I loved learning about the 9 levels of Mayan mythology as we descended into the cave. The dinner is well worth it and contained foods that I have not found since, including Mayan guacamole and a desert similar to marzipan. It is also a very beautiful drive on nearly perfect roads through deep Yucatan greenery, and very easy to find on google maps.

  This is easily one of the most beautiful cenotes I have ever seen! The Tour, the experience, everything is absolutely astonishing! It also allows you to have that cenote privately to yourself, or with your party! The history and mythology they teach, was unforgettable! The cuisine, and service was splendid! You absolutely MUST book this experience, you won’t regret it! I spent to weeks in Yucatan, and this was one of my top favorite activities!

  Edna was our English tour guide and she was very knowledgable and friendly. We never felt rushed went going through the cenote and it was very interesting to learn about the history of cenotes and their purpose during the Mayan era. We also had a dinner afterwards where they set up a fire pit for us to eat outside, it was very romantic. Go here for a unique cenote experience!

  There was a mixup with our booking - lucky for us, because we ended up getting a private tour. Edna was our guide and she made our tour truly perfect. She was very knowledgeable and took her time to explain the history of the cenote along with Mayan legends and interesting information about the culture. The cave is one of a kind as you will find massive stalactites here, some of which are older than 500,000 years. The cenote itself is shallow and the water is quite chilly, but still very special and enjoyable. After the tour, we had dinner which was wonderful. All in all, we felt very well looked after, everybody was friendly and very attentive and worked hard to make this an unforgettable experience!

  A lot of attention to detail was put into this place and it’s easy to see this upon arrival. We have seen many many underground caves in Yucutan and QRoo and this one is definitely one of the nicest. The tour with Myan mythology and the tribal music all made for a lovely atmosphere. We were disappointed to miss the shaman part of the tour, because we saw him and know he was around, but we realize some logistical difficulties were being encountered on this particular evening. The dinner was lovely, great service, great food, great atmosphere. We loved it all!

  Excellent experience with a lot of respect for the place. And Mayan history, and Mayan food. In the jungle. A. One of the largest cenotes I have ever seen. Spectacular.
