Faro Mazatlan
The light house built in 1879 is located at the southern tip of the city and it is one of the most emblematic attractions of Mazatlan. We will drive by and offer you the option to climb up to the top which is 500 feet above sea level. The views are spectacular. You will be able to see the entire city and the Sierra Madre mountains in the background. There are lots of opportunities to take beautiful pictures along the way up. There is also a glass floor bridge that extends out from the side of the hill. It is recommended to take bottled water and a small towel to freshen up due to the warm weather. We will continue driving along the Bay Area towards the Olas Altas neighborhood making a couple stops at lookout points for picture taking. The driver will provide basic historical information and answer any questions if requested.
Playa Olas Altas
As we continue driving along Paseo del Centenario, we will soon come across the oldest beach front hotels better known as Olas Altas which happens to be one of the tourists and locals favorites. It is filled with history that they tend to enjoy from coffee shops, restaurants and bars. Here you have the option of either taking a short walking-tour or continue riding through the historical center. Take a nice photo of Carpa Olivera which is literally a salt water pool in the ocean built in 1914. See the waves refilling the pool as they roll in. Continue along the Angel Flores Street and its colorful houses, which is one of the most remarkable and photographed streets in Olas Altas.

5.00Alberto was a great driver and very informative. He customized the tour to what we wanted to see and do. Lunch stop at Joe's Oyster Bar was a nice touch. Excellent music, food, and drinks overlooking the beach.

5.00We had an amazing experience on our private tour with Chris Jr. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He shared so much interesting information throughout the drive and really knew the area well. He also made sure we were comfortable the whole time and even had cold water ready for us. Everything about the tour was smooth and enjoyable, couldn’t have asked for a better guide. Highly recommend Chris Jr for anyone looking for a professional and friendly experience!

5.00Christian was so amazing! He was there waiting for us outside of the cruise terminal and made the pickup so easy. He took our family of 10 on a 3 hour tour and was so knowledgeable of Mazatlan. He was kind and accommodating and we enjoyed riding in the air conditioned van as it was a very hot day. He dropped us off at the golden zone after our tour and when we asked advice about how to get back to the cruise terminal later that day, he offered to come and take us back for a small fee. I highly recommend him as a travel guide.

5.00Cesar was an amazing guide. One of our party was injured before the tour and we were unable to get out much to walk around. This meant the poor man was forced to talk for hours, but he shared so much about the history and culture of Mazatlan it was much appreciated. We saw things we never would have seen in a canned/hurried 'normal' cruise excursion. Money well spent and true appreciation of this amazing city. Now we want to come back for a full week!

5.00Christian Blancarte was awesome. He was on time and very professional. He had cold water available and battery powered fans to take hiking if you needed them. Some bathrooms were coin operated, and he had pesos available. We deviated from the normal itinerary, and he was more than happy to oblige. I would definitely use him again.

5.00Christian was early for our tour and ready to go. He was very knowledgeable about Mazatlan as we have never been here before. He provided a great amount of history of the city and took us to several places, including the divers. We were able to see everything that we had wanted to see and he found a very nice place for us to have lunch. He made sure my kids were comfortable by offering a fan to each which was so very thoughtful. We had a great time and the van was very very comfortable on a hot and humid day. To meet Christian, take one of the carts once you get off your cruise ship and then go through the cruise terminal into a parking area where people are getting picked up. He was thoughtful and texted me several days before with where he was going to be and with a picture so I recognized him right away.

5.00Hired 2 vans, The tour guides were accommodating and made sure we made it back onto our cruise ship without rushing us. Instructions for finding them on dock were slightly unclear. We had to exit to the blue gate at the street to meet the tour guides. That detail wasn't provided until we called.
