This is the Original Mdina and Rabat walking tour. We were the first to introduce the concept of walking tour in this city.

Excellent informative tour by Carmel. He was very knowledgeable through all periods of history and gave great advice for further activities and sites to see in Mdina. Really enjoyable morning. Not too slow or too fast. We would recommend this to everyone who visits.

The guide was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about his subject and the history of this amazing place. Unfortunately we had very little time to wander around Mdina after seeing Rabat and the catacombs. It would have been fine if it hadn't been raining and getting late by the time we got into Mdina (around 5:20). Be sure to plan time to spend in Mdina after or before the tour to fully appreciate the town.

Detailed history with knowledgeable guide Carmen. Great pace. Bring sturdy shoes. Be advised catacombs not appropriate for those who are claustrophobic.

Mario was an amazing guide and gave us an excellent insight into the language and history of Malta. Learning about the influence of each of the rulers and what they had left behind was very interesting. The visit to St Paul’s catacombs in Rabat left a deep impression. Without Mario’s input we would not have understood the significance of these underground passages. In Mdina we learnt about how many of the beautiful palaces are now unoccupied - and looked out for the unique door knockers. The view from the rampart over half the island was delightful- and would have been even better if it hadn’t been raining!

Very informative regarding history, culture, languages, and geography. Mario was energetic and a great communicator. Catacombs tour was very interesting. We would highly recommend this tour.

We had a great tour around key areas of Rabat, the catacombs and Mdina. Matthieu was an incredibly knowledgable guide who shared a wealth of knowledge on the city and its history. We were engaged throughout and he paced the tour out very well. Definitely one that’s recommended!

Our tour had to be rescheduled twice due to a rare local weather occurrence. We appreciated the tour company contacting us regularly to ensure that we had an opportunity to make the tour or get a refund. The guide was very informative and easy to talk to and walk with.
