Explore two UNESCO World Heritage Sites during this day trip from Brasov: the medieval old town of Sighisoara and the fortified church of Viscri!
The trip starts early in the morning and finishes in the afternoon with a drive back to Brasov.
Our first stop is at the Rupea Citadel . The fortress, built by german saxons is a trademark Transylvanian fortress design to stop the Otoman advance towards Eastern Europe.
Next, we drive to Sighisoara to uncover the last medieval city of Romania. We will walk along the narrow old streets as we will explore some of the most popular landmarks of the town.
Last but not least we will visit Viscri village and take a look at the fortified church.
Lunch is possible in Sighisoara or Viscri.
Additional experiences can include a ride with a horse and carriage as well as a visit to the Blacksmith. Details can be discussed via messaging or WhatsApp after booking.

5.00We used Etours again, this time we had Vali, really friendly knowledgable guy!! We had really good time visiting all the attractions and Vali filled in on all the history of the area! He also made sure we got the most of the day, and we overrun a bit because we were having such a brilliant time and Vali was happy to stay out a bit longer because we were so interested in everything he was showing us!! I would give Vali a 10 out of 10 and I would also recommend him to everyone going to Romania! Both Vlad and Vali made our trip, and we want to go back and to Romania, next time we want to do some hiking, and we ask Vali to be our guide!!!

5.00You could not ask for a better guide. Vlad is generous, patient, kind and very attentive. He is incredibly kind. I took a private tour so I got to co create the itinerary. The whole thing, start to finish, was wonderful... an incredible experience made better by the host.
