My Tho

Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.

Great day out exploring the Mekong Delta made even better with Nina our guide for the day, she had a lot of great knowledge of the area and a good relationship with the locals.

What an amazing day out! Nina was a fantastic guide, so friendly and full of knowledge about the area. We cruised the Mekong, rode a sampan through the narrow canals, visited the coconut candy factory, bee farm and finished with a great lunch at Vuon Dau restaurant. Saw and tasted things we never would have found on our own. Really authentic experience away from the city hustle. If you do this tour ask for Nina, she made it special!

The Mekong discovery tour was amazing. Thao was a great tour guide with lots of information. Would highly recommend as a must to do. Food was also great.

I like everything about the tour. Especially our guide Nina, who was wonderful. We tried fruits, honey tea, coconut candies and the sampan was lovely.

Water crossings, tastings, wandering on Delta islands and a meal of local fare. Mia was patient, friendly, knowledgeable and caring. We were 4 couples in our 50s and we had a great time.
