My Tho
Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.

5.00This was an absolutely fabulous day. On time, great info, helpful and knowledgeable guide, and activities were interesting, fun and educational. We saw & tasted so much - agriculture, bees, super strong rice saki, yummy coconut nougat, piles and piles of delicious food for lunch (they did a great job of catering to my vegetarianism, while presenting whole fish and coconut steamed fish to others), cruised down (or up) the Mekong on a larger boat, then split into small groups to paddle down inner waterways, and much much more!

5.00Had the best experience today at Mekong river.Jerry was our guide his knowledge and English were exceptional.Jerry made our tour so much funny with his humour,he went above and beyond to give us a great experience in Ho Chi Min .We really hope we get him again

5.00Wonderful day visiting the Mekong delta with our guide Nina from Intrepid tours. Honey tea on Unicorn Island, tropical fruit tasting on Tortoise island and sweet coconut delicacies and banquet lunch at Coconut Kingdom. Well organised, very informative and most enjoyable!

5.00Nina gave us an unforgettable tour of the Mekong Delta, with stops at Unicorn Island, Tortoise Island, and the Coconut Kingdom, each of which featured delicious local food and drink. Nina’s expertise, sense of humor, and great communication skills made this affordable trip one of the best experiences of our nearly-two-week tour of Vietnam. The admission fee was very-reasonable, at under $60 per person, and the full-day trip left us more than satisfied — and certainly wanting to return in the future! You cannot go wrong with Nina when in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon!

5.00I had a fantastic experience on the Mekong Delta tour. Our guide, Nina, was excellent - knowledgeable, friendly, and great at explaining local life and traditions. I really enjoyed trying fresh local fruits, visiting the coconut candy factory, taking a relaxing boat ride, and having a tasty local lunch. Overall, it was a memorable and well-organized tour that I’d happily recommend.

4.00Nancy at Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) A friendly tour guide called Ngynun (Nancy) from the Intrepid Team took us in a party of 10 visitors to experience the Mekong Delta and local life. Nancy kept us informed and up to date with all the things we did. She was welcoming and very informative throughout the tour. A highly entertaining tour guide who made the trip fun. Lots of local information on the sights along the journey. We would have appreciated some water along our coach journey which took a couple of hours each way. Jasmine Gillies & Peter Fox
