My Tho

Upon arrival into My Tho, we board our private boat for a cruise on the Mekong River. Then board a private boat and begin your cruise along the mighty Mekong River. Stop-off at a fish farm to gain an insight into one of the biggest industries of the region. Your expert local guide will take you to a nearby island, where you can stroll through the gardens and sample tropical fruits. Continuing to another island in the Mekong Delta, learn more about another cottage industry–coconut candy. Visit a factory and learn how this sweet is made.

An excellent trip with Thanh answering many questions we had. A great cruise on the Mekong River and small boat ride down the waterways. A tuk tuk ride through villages. The lunch we had was delicious followed by a rest in hammocks. Visiting local people tasting honey, coconut candy. Seeing all the fruit producing trees and tasting chocolate. A very worthwhile trip.

Thang was an excellent guide, very friendly and informative and relaxed. We were a small group and had lots of conversation, learning about the people and culture of the Mekong River environment. Had an enjoyable experience and met lots of local people and learnt about the work they do to earn a living.
