7.00 AM or later (Private tour our driver and guide are ready at your disposal): Our driver picks up at the foot of your cruise to drive to Mekong Delta to start the tour visiting Ben Tre - My Tho area. Our driver will have a card with your name on it upon your getting to the port, you take a walk down to your cruise and find our driver standing just at the foot of the cruise. Start the drive to My Tho. Upon arrival to the boat station, our local guide greet and meet to start the trip.
My Tho
We get to the boat station, Get on a small motored boat to go across the river on Long Island, visitors see the village floating fish market, tropical fruit Orchard. The visit to a real local family to enjoy all kinds of fruits in the giant garden while listening to the traditional local folk music: "Don Ca Tai Tu". Strolling along the village to visit different families and gardens and enjoy honey tea here. Get on the bamboo boat rowed by local people for a journey to a workshop of coconut candy (a specialty of Ben Tre). Enjoy the freshly made candy and get back to the boat to visit the local market. From here, we will get a Cycling tour (Horse cart or tuk tuk if you are not fond of biking) on the village road creeping through the orchards along roads and pristine beauty that nature has bestowed the area. Visit workshop of cakes. Get to the local restaurant for lunch. (Any special diet can be served on request).

5.00Our ship stopped for a short day in the port and we took a day tour to the Mekong delta, pick up was prompt, our driver was fantastic, he did a great job to make sure all of us got to the spot and got back on time. We met our local guide in Mekong and she was very knowledgeable, understood our needs perfectly and tailored a short trip for us to fit our travel plan. We had a great time in "Her village" by canoeing through the river, rowing a boat via the canal and having a great lunch. We especially thanked Mr. Windy who arranged all our Vietnam shore excursions in all 4 ports in Vietnam. His profession and his team was amazing.
Definitely worth the drive to get there from there port!

5.00This was a wonderful trip. The three hour drive from the cruise ship actually provided a great view of Ho Chi Minh City and the surrounding communities. Our guide, Than Ngan Nguyen, was really terrific. She planned a very busy day for us with an authentic meal, a trip down the river on a paddle boat, a tour of the local honey, coconut candy and chocolate factories, as well as an authentic music performance. Her English was excellent and she is very knowledgeable. We know this is a three hour drive each way but we found it well worth the trip!

4.00Very good tour We loved it!! The only thing we didn't know was that it was a chaotic city and we were in the cruise port and it took us 2:45 hours there and 3:30 back due to an accident, the guide was very kind, he helped us do everything quickly and the food that they included us was delicious, we had a good time in the gondola to get to eat

5.00An incredible day of excursion starting from our port. Everything worked perfectly, our driver picked us up at the port and we had a great time in the countryside. We loved the walk to the town and trying the local tea, as well as the boat ride on the canal. I wish I had more time to enjoy the whole site...

5.00Our driver was on time waiting for us at the port and the drive was smooth. The countryside tour was the best activity in Vietnam we had during our trip. Enjoyed the food, the boat-drive, coconut farm and also the music performance by locals. Very well organized tour and our guide was Tom, he was fun and really did a good job. Highly recommend going to the Mekong with Tom and his crew.
