Departing at 8:00 AM, from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. at the beautiful rural My Tho. Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province.

5.00We had an amazing day touring the Meekong (9 Dragons) Delta with Mathew as our guide. It felt like we were transported to another world and get a glimpse into the way the locals live and work and the importance of the river to their way of life. Matthew was an amazing guide , so knowledgeable and fun - he really made the day a true VIP experience. I would highly recommend this day trip to experience a fascinating part of the world in style.

5.00We had an amazing time with our guide Hannah!!! She knows everything about the Mekong Delta and answered all our quistions! Very friendly and helpfull! We feel like we saw a little bit of everything and got a good overview of how people live in the Mekong Delta. Hannah also made sure we did not overpay of got a bad product when we wanted to buy some souvenirs. Highly recommand this tour.

5.00Our private tour to the Mekong Delta was truly one of the highlights of our trip. From the very beginning, everything felt personal, relaxed, and thoughtfully organized. Jen, our tour guide, was absolutely fantastic. Her knowledge about the region, its history, culture, and daily life was impressive, and she shared it in such an engaging and accessible way. We learned so much throughout the day, yet it never felt like a lecture — it felt like exploring the area with a knowledgeable friend. What we appreciated most was how authentic and non-touristy the experience felt. The tour had a warm, almost family-like atmosphere, which made it incredibly special and different from the usual crowded excursions. We felt welcomed and genuinely connected to the local culture. We would book this tour again without hesitation and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful and personal experience in the Mekong Delta. It exceeded all our expectations.

5.00Bunny was very punctual and had very good English skills. She took care of us very warmly and imparted extensive knowledge about Vietnam. We were shown and explained many fruits. Afterwards we were allowed to taste all exotic fruits. The trip to the coconut farm was interesting and we learned all about the coconut. The boat trip through the Mekong Delta was magical. Our expectations from this trip were exceeded. Bunny is highly recommended. Thank you!!!

Bespoke Cu Chi & Mekong Delta

5.00We were contacted early to advise that due to Tet the floating markets would not be operational so agreed to amend the tour to be a bespoke Cu Chi tunnels and Mekong Delta visit. Our guide Mia picked us up with her driver from the hotel and briefed us on the tunnels prior to arriving. We still go there before a lot of the tourist buses arrived and she navigated the site with ease. Allowing us to see all of the main areas without much of a crowd. It’s a bit of a tourist trap the tunnels as we found the Vin Moch much better, but these ones have more Instagram photos and videos for sure. After a lunch we headed down to the port on the Mekong to visit the islands. Mia took us to see the bee keepers who make the islands honey and tasted some herbal tea with Royal jelly. We also had a tour around the island sampling some of the exotic fruits grown locally and weee treated to a local singing group. Before heading on a small boat around the coconut forest, stopping at the island where they make coconut candy sweets. It was a nice way to mix a day between the tunnels and troubles background and how the people living in the Mekong Delta make a living, having a local in Mia made it so much clearer to appreciate and she was always very friendly and informative during our tour.

5.00The tour was lovely. Enjoyed sampling the coconut candy and seeing how it was made. Touring around the islands, experiencing the canoe on the island canal was fun. Kevin was a fantastic guide. Friendly and knowledgeable about the islands, history, and a lot of the vegetation and creatures we saw along the way. His English is perfect. You will not be hungry at the end of the tour. We ate coconut candy, a beautiful table full of fruit (along with some music and singers just for us!) and then eventually a large lunch of fish (made into fresh spring rolls for us , pork ribs. Rice, broth, bok choy with garlic, sticky rice…. So much food. Highly recommend this tour. And if you get Kevin as your guide, lucky you!
