This tour of the fertile Mekong Delta was a welcome contrast and break from the hustle and bustle of Hi Chi Minh City. Our guide, Eddie, did a superb job of explaining and navigating our way through the delta’s waterways, sights, people and foods. From coconuts to crocodiles, from boats to canoes, from local fruits to delicious fish, it was a memorable experience!

A long way to get there but worth it. Ni was lovely and kept us amused on the journey. Boat trips, coconut candy making, lunch, feeding the crocodiles, holding a python. An entertaining day

We had a wonderful day with Jen at the Mekong Delta. The tour went exactly as advertised. She picked us up on time, the vehicle was luxurious, and the driver was outstanding. Jen was delightful. would highly recommend this tour.

It was a very interesting and learnable trip with our very good guide Tim. It was a long day and since he toured only us we got a pretty small boat at the Mekongdelta. Since my husband has bad balance it was hard for him to get on the boat even though he got plenty of help from the guide. We took the tuc tuc instead of bycycle which went fine. It was interesting to hear the locals sing, the vietnamese lunch pretty good. Nice to be able to try to cook vietnamesisk pancakes. Also very intetesting to see how they made coconut candy.

I’ve always wanted to visit the Mekong region or Vietnam, we actually were fortunate to have a tour guide who grew up in that area. We were picked up in the morning and given an ice cold bottle of water 💦 by our driver. We proceeded on the road to the Mekong area learning more about it as we were driving. We arrived and immediately got on a motorized boat to cross the Mekong Delta to visit a small village where we enjoyed fresh bee tea with fresh honey and crackers, my husband got to wear an anaconda. Yes, a huge 🐍 snake. We then walked along the little road through shops to a restaurant where we were serenaded by a lovely singer and ate local fruits, which I’ve never had before. We then proceeded to another area where we got in a large canoe and were rowed down a canal viewing all the Vietnamese people selling their fresh produce. This part was really lovely and very humbling. We ended up in another small village of people who were making all kinds of things from coconuts, rugs, and very delicious coconut candies in many different flavors, which we sampled. We then got in a Jeep and we’re delivered to a spectacular lunch restaurant/village that had all kinds of fun things to do there Including two alligator ponds, snake pits and a large pond with hungry catfish just waiting to be fed. We were all laughing they were a sight to see! They are so comical to watch.! We sat down to a spectacular lunch which consisted of so much food, we could hardly eat it. We proceeded back to the boat and we’re greeted with fresh coconut water for dessert. An, our guide was taking us from there to see a pagoda, but we were so tired. We asked to come home. It was late at that point. An, was a excellent tour guide. It would be very hard to find anybody so enlightening, fun and knowledgeable of the area.. He also won our hearts with his enthusiasm and love of Vietnam.
