Departing at 8:00 AM, from your Ho Chi Minh City hotel, heading to the Mekong Delta by minivan or bus. During the 1.5 hour drive, pass by green rice fields before arriving at the beautiful rural My Tho. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong delta. at the beautiful rural My Tho. Your morning trip continues from here by motorized boat on the Tien River to the Qui (Tortoise islet). On the way, see the fishing port, boat-building workshops, and the Dragon, Phoenix and Unicorn Islet. Walk into the village, where you can visit a local fruit garden and enjoy the tropical fruit while listening to Southern Vietnamese folk music performed by islanders. Here you also can join the daily activities of the local people and take in the atmosphere of this beautiful natural countryside. Visit the bee house, and take the picture of the pythons. Lunch will be served right in the heart of the orchard garden. The boat cruise will lead you through Bao Dinh canal, entering Ben Tre province.

5.00Great trip and great experience, we had a great guide and we learned and saw a lot in a day. We completed a bucket list task. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a day of fun and adventure and would like to get so history.

3.00It’s a long day as the traffic is very heavy both ways. Stopped at a Buddhist temple which if it’s not your thing is a bit boring. Life on the island is ok but I just felt the day was a bit dragged out. The bus while adequate has seen better days. The guide Kevin was excellent, full of knowledge and couldn’t do enough for us. All in all don’t think the tour is good value.

5.00This tour of the fertile Mekong Delta was a welcome contrast and break from the hustle and bustle of Hi Chi Minh City. Our guide, Eddie, did a superb job of explaining and navigating our way through the delta’s waterways, sights, people and foods. From coconuts to crocodiles, from boats to canoes, from local fruits to delicious fish, it was a memorable experience!

5.00A long way to get there but worth it. Ni was lovely and kept us amused on the journey. Boat trips, coconut candy making, lunch, feeding the crocodiles, holding a python. An entertaining day
