Why SHOULD you join US? Connecting with local households, guests have the opportunity to converse, share stories, and gain a deeper understanding of the culture of the Mekong Delta.
You will taste specialty fruits such as dragon fruit, grapefruit, guava, and mango (seasonal). The tour guide explains the process of growing and caring for natural fruits. You can also enjoy traditional meals prepared with fresh ingredients, experience cooking, fishing or rice planting.
Last but not least you will spend an hour TALKING with disadvantaged children in the local area.

Travel Time: 2 Days, 1 Night Pick-up point: Hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh City. 7:40 - 8:00am: Pick up your hotel. On the way, the tour guide will share about the cultural, historical, and ecological life of the 13 provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta and introduce the main activities in the program. 9:30am: Check in at Family Tiny Garden homestay. 9:50am: Cycling to explore the countryside, you will see beautiful rice fields and then visit the Xom Trau Pagoda, where there is the Underground Tunnel relic. 11:30am: Join a cooking class, make spring rolls, and learn to make banh xeo, then have lunch. 2:30pm: Check in at Motorboat; visit the fruit orchard: lemon, guava, and dragon fruit garden. 3:20pm: Kayaking through the coconut water forest, immersing in nature. 5:20 - 6:30pm You have joined an hour of sharing and speaking English with disadvantaged children from the local area. 7:00pm: Dinner (Barbecue) Relax and sing karaoke overnight homestay.
Day 2: You explore the countryside by bicycle, watching rice fields and fruit gardens.

5:30am: Visitors get up early to ride bicycles to watch the sunrise over the rice fields; you explore the countryside, admire the beauty, then visit the local market, enjoy coffee, and enjoy breakfast. Fun and insightful introduction to the Mekong Delta

5.00We had so many new experiences and insights on this two day tour that it is hard to know where to start on this review. Our guide, Tin Tin, threw himself into every activity whether it be telling us about the language and culture, showing us how dragon fruits and kumquats are grown, kayaking and cycling through the delta or showing us how to prepare our lunch. The homestay was very welcoming, the rooms basic but comfortable and clean, and the food was excellent.
This was one great tour. Not to be missed.

5.00This was an unbelievably great tour. There was so much activity and fun it's hard to fathom all that we did in just two days. Bicycling and kayaking and fishing and planting rice and learning about nature and wildlife and culture and customs. Our tour guide, Tin Tin, was exceptional. He made the entire adventure flow so smoothly with expert commentary and wonderful enthusiasm and entertainment. He is the consummate host. This was just one great experience. A perfect introduction to the Vietnam experience.

5.00Shades Cozy, lots of activities. Cycling, fishing, rice planting. We visited a temple. Watched the sunrise. The guide could tell us a lot.

5.00We selected this nature experience and it was indeed very well organised with multiple green activities around the Mekong river Our sons really enjoyed and asked to come back again The organiser Mr tin tin and Mr Kenny were outstangly helpful Thanks a lot to them for a great 2 days filled activities We discovered the real Vietnam and enjoyed it

5.00A really fab tour. Food was excellent and you definitely get your money’s worth in terms of activities. It’s also not too touristy which was very nice. The accommodation is really beautiful and quiet too. The kayaking and fish catching were very fun parts of the tour too and we had a good laugh. Thank you Chow, hieu and Kenny!

5.00Wanted an activity to take us out of the city for some local exposure. This tour was perfect, Jack our guide was not only lovely but he was knowledgeable, friendly, knew how to keep the group together managing to cover activities off with expert organisation! We cycled both days, kayaked, caught catfish, planted rice, ate at 2 local outlets for breakfast and Vietnamese coffee during our cycling on day 2, took a sampan and boat ride across and along the Mekong, visited a honey bee farm, fruit farm and coconut sweet place where we tasted samples, held a python, tried snake wine and stayed the night at Family Tiny Garden Homestay. We were treated to beautiful, generous lunches and dinner and got to cook our own Vietnamese pancakes under Jack’s expert guidance. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and welcoming, would highly recommend! Thank you ‘Vietnam to Travel’

5.00Today was our second day with Dennis at Family Tiny Garden Homestay. Incredible morning. Bike ride to watch sunrise over farm and rice fields. Then a chance to go to true local market and have breakfast and coffee amongst the local community. Felt very welcome by the people. Kayak on a tributary of the Mekong and then an amazing lunch. Great two days. Highly recommend an overnight here. Massive thank you to Dennis whose company, insight and enthusiasm for love, life and peace was infectious.
