  Yoshi gave me such a great experience from start to finish. He is very fun to talk to, knowledgable about whiskey and picks the perfect combinations to show you the world of japanese whiskey even going as far as to reccommend some particular whiskies that suited my tatstes as the tour went on. Not only will you have a great time but Yoshi goes beyond the expectations I had for the tour with a really special suprise at the end. If you are in Tokyo, want to explore some unique private bars with a locale and enjoy the unquie experince of japanese whiskey then this is the tour you cannot miss!

  This is an excellent bar experience and whiskey tasting. The timing makes it a pre-game for a night out or a lovely way to end your day. The guide is fun and keeps it low-key. The private bars provide a wonderful window into Tokyo night life.

  What a great trip. Hayato was fantastic. Great guide took us to 2 whisky bars and helped us discover some fantastic rare whisky. This tour is a must for any whisky lovers.

  We had a great evening with a very knowledgeable guide! If you want to experience a bit of the real Tokyo and some amazing whiskey this is the tour for you! Hayato was on time exactly where he told us to meet up so there was no stress. Although we are not Japanese whiskey experts, Hayato is and was able to guide us to taste some of the best whiskey on the planet! Visited two very classy bars that we would never have found ourselves. Don’t miss this opportunity!

  We had an absolutely fantastic time on this tour. It was everything we wanted to find in a whiskey tour of Tokyo/Japan. We started by meeting our host, Koki, in Ebisu at 8 PM, from there, we visited two local whiskey bars that did not disappoint, ended up staying out until the last train would take us back home. Koki was an excellent host and by the end of the evening, a good friend. His passion for whiskey and his company really shown through. Each bar was a great local bar with less than 15 total seats, there is no way you would be able to find or get into either our if you were not a local, it was like being in our own neighborhood. The first bar was A really nice way to start the night, the bar was not intimidating and quiet, The bar owner was quiet and clearly wanted to help us find some whiskeys that we had not had before and would enjoy. My wife and I tried a few including some Fuji whiskeys all were very good. The next stop was even more fantastic, the bar set up was a bit more to our liking sitting at the counter, talking, not only with Koki but with the bar owner. The passion, both of them had for the whiskeys, that chase of rare bottles, and the different flavors Was great. It felt like talking to my friends at home about our bottle chases. We ended up getting to try a few rare bottles (Lucky Cat, Yamazakura Asaka Sakura Cask, and three from Ichiro’s malt…MWR, Double Distillers, and Red Wine Reserve). My wife really enjoys a tiki/tropical/fruity gin and the bartender recommended Komasa Gin in an orange flavor which was also great. Both Koki and the bar owner shared some of their favorite places to go find rare bottles in and around the city and other bar options throughout Tokyo and Japan. We are looking forward to going to chase a few rare bottles and visit some of the other whiskey bars around Tokyo. I simply can’t recommend this tour enough if you want to meet some great people with deep passion for whiskeys.

  We were super well advised by Hayato and the two bars in Whisky was really great. We discovered Japanese whiskeys that we didn’t know and that matched the flavors we were looking for.   Hayato was an excellent tour-guide! We had a really nice and pleasant time together with him. We tried different types of japanese whiskies in two bars in Ebisu that were a bit off the beaten track! Hayato was so nice and friendly. He gave us a lot of information on the drinking culture in Japan and beyond! We really enjoyed the tour! Thanks a lot again Hayato!!

  We had an amazing time with an excellent guide. We stopped at two bars: a speakeasy and a hard core whiskey bar. Both we excellent and offered whiskies to suit any taste. Fyi, as always in Tokyo, wear comfortable shoes, as you'll do a bit of walking. Highly recommended

  Hayato was a great host, with great conversation and great English. I wouldn't have found the bars we went to without him. I enjoyed the tour and recommend it.

  It was a lovely evening stroll in Tokyo. The delicious drinks and snacks we had at the two izakayas were amazing. The night view of Tokyo was a highlight. We went to two places, Shibuya and Shinjuku. Both were amazing, just like in the movies. It was a fun experience. I'd definitely like to go back again if I have the chance later.
