  This was a great experience getting beyond the big three pyramids at Giza. The sights are impressive and with many fewer people much easier to appreciate. The Red pyramid is amazing and much easier to get in and out of compared to Giza. Our guide was also great from the moment he picked us up in the morning until drop off. Tonsi was professional and knowledgeable in addition to being someone good to hang out with for a day. All around a great experience that I'd recommend to anyone.

  Aly was a superb guide for our family through Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. Not only was he informative in an engaging way, he also interacted with our seven year old son with grace, humour and genuine interest in his questions and ideas about the history around. Aly provided informed advice about how best to use our time at each site, where there is more to see than is possible to get to in a day (especially with a child in the group). As a result, we had a completely fulfilling day out, with memorable experiences of going inside three pyramids, examining tombs and visiting the ruins of Memphis, all with Aly’s expert guidance. The package also included a fantastic lunch of Egyptian falafel and a comfortable vehicle to make the journey, which was expertly piloted by Mohamed. All in all, the best of the four different tour packages we booked during our six days in Cairo. Can’t recommend this package, and Aly as guide, highly enough!

  Aly Elsheemy was our guide, and his knowledge of Egypt was amazing. We were given sufficient time at each stop for our own explorations and photos. Indeed, it was great to visit pyramids that receive less tourists than the Giza ones. Also, it was simpler to go inside these pyramids in general. We enjoyed the length of the tour and the things we were able to see. We feel that full day tours would be a bit of information overload, but the half day tour was great! Unsurprisingly, as always with Egypt in tours, our tour guide was ready prior to the scheduled start time. We took 3 tours with Egypt in tours travel agency, and all were like this - I can certainly recommend them as a tour operator with whom you'd never go wrong!

  Ali was a fantastic tour guide, he tailored the day to suit our needs and added humour and his knowledge to bring Egypt and its history to life. His English was excellent and made the day tour a very special experience for us. Would definitely recommend Ali to anyone looking to learn and enjoy the wonders of Egypt and its history.

• Beware Viator’s Misrepresented Hidden Fees!!! Don’t be cheated!!!

  We paid $120 for two for an all admission fees included Viator tour. However when we arrived at the entrances, the Tour Guide Aly said that we had to pay each of the three entrance fees with our credit cards which we had to, totaling an extra US$50. Although the Tour Guide Aly was making efforts in guiding us which we had kindly tipped him, the misrepresented hidden US$50 entrance fees were bad tastes in our mouths. We demand refund and credit!!!

  Best guide ever “Aly “ we have him for 3 times because for 1st time we had him as our tourist guide his great so we decided to book him again for another 2 days we know that he will help us in every details and we didn’t regret thanks aly for good accommodation ur very knowledgeable no wonder many people knows you everywhere we go ..   Amazing day with Ali. Everyone on here gets 5 stars, but here's why this tour really deserves it: 1) Ali knows EVERYBODY. He gets access to places other goddess guides can't go. 2) He has the best personality. Very upbeat and positive. Patient. And funny. 3) Can go slow. Can go fast. Moves at YOUR speed. 4) Knows how to avoid the CROWDS. Can guide you while not getting you overwhelmed with the tourist buses. 5) Knows all the PHOTO SPOTS. He can make sure you get the best photos and videos. 6) He knows THREE languages. Even Japanese! We tried many guides this trip and Ali was the BEST by far.   Ali was a spectacular guide. If you want someone who will offer you a rich education and access to some of the less traveled corners of the sites, he is your guy. Ali may not be the most affordable, but he is worth it. The things we learned and the things we saw away from the crowds were directly related to his experience, his connections, and his knowledge. Highly recommend booking with him :)
