Although we are the original whale-watching company in Juneau (operating since 1994), we are still small and family-owned and operated! We want you to feel like part of the family, and we pride ourselves on prioritizing local hires in order to give back to our community and give you the best possible tour experience. We want our guides to love Juneau as much as you do!
Our fleet consists of only mammal-friendly jet boats, and the small size and intimate setting will make you feel right at home with the whales.
We pride ourselves on our quick transfers between vehicles! We don't want you to wait any longer than you absolutely have to!

Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center
You will be dropped off at the Mendenhall Glacier Recreation Area for a self guided stop. You will be able to overlook the glacier from Photo Point Outlook, and stop by educational displays at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. If you walk down the board walk over the salmon streams, you might get a chance to see spawning salmon, or even a bear!
Juneau
Take a mammal friendly jet boat out of Auke Bay Harbor, and explore the waters surrounding Juneau in search of the majestic humpback whale! This tour includes two hours on the water where an experienced captain will take you to where ever the whales are hanging out that day!

5.00Seeing the Mendehall Glacier and Nugget Falls was awesome! Even with all the rain we experienced that day it was so beautiful and the roar of the falls makes you feel how spectacular the world is. Then we got to see the magnificent creatures of the deep- humpback whales & orcas.

5.00we had a wonderful time with Brendan as our bus driver. He was very informative, pointed things out during the trip on the bus and Jay and Jade, where our guides on the whale watching tour. We seen several whales in a distance and had the unique opportunity of seeing one very close. I’d rate this t Tour a 10 out of 10.

5.00My husband and I had an amazing time with Dolphin Jet Boat Tours. The experience was exciting from start to finish, and the scenery was incredible. Chris was an absolute blast at the glacier stop. Super fun, informative, and kept us entertained. Definitely a highlight of our trip!

5.00Good team of people - don’t remember all their names but one of the girls was Liby went through extra effort to show us Orca and humpback whales. It was a great experience for us.

5.00Great day! Started with Branden our bus driver which was great! Then out boat captain Austin tracked down the whales while Libby and Nelli spotted them, and gave us great info! This was a truly personal and amazing experience! It’s a must!

5.00Brendan, Sam, CJ, and Aurora were a great team to spend the day with! They were so knowledgeable and friendly. The team was also super accommodating when we missed our initial tour time slot due to shuttle issues which was so kind. Highly recommend booking with this great group!
