Arriving at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, you’ll have two hours to explore this stunning natural wonder. Here you can choose to wander trails, photograph the glacier from the distance, or explore the Visitor’s Center. With various walking trails available, visitors of all fitness levels can enjoy spectacular views of the glacier, Mendenhall Lake, and the untouched wilderness. Entry to the Visitor’s Center is included where you can enjoy interactive exhibits and educational presentations.

The trip is great. The driver not so much. Older folks need to know that the walk to Nugget Falls takes 30 minutes not the 20 minutes advertised.

The glacier and waterfall were wonderful. Met some nice people on the way. Trip to and from was entertaining.

From check in to getting the glacier everything was smooth. Our bus driver gave us lots of information about Alaska and told lots of jokes. It was great! And the bud was brand new and super clean!

The driver was great with a sense of humour which was needed as the day was wet and cold. When we got to the glacia the rain stopped and the clouds seem to be lighter. Some good advantage points to view the glacier and take photos. The visitors centre was not to be missed full of info. For me the Glacier Express was a good way to get to the site and the driver was excellent. Thank you
