Arriving at the Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center, you’ll have two hours to explore this stunning natural wonder. Here you can choose to wander trails, photograph the glacier from the distance, or explore the Visitor’s Center. With various walking trails available, visitors of all fitness levels can enjoy spectacular views of the glacier, Mendenhall Lake, and the untouched wilderness. Entry to the Visitor’s Center is included where you can enjoy interactive exhibits and educational presentations.

5.00Amazing experience. Breathtaking views and country. Learned a lot about the glaziers and animals that live in the area. So happy we were able to do this tour.

5.00We had a driver who was friendly, knowledgeable, and represented the Native American culture prevalent in Juneau. The bus was new, clean, on-time, and dropped us off near the Visitor Center which was critical for us because we are 80 and 90 year olds. Beware, some tour operators leave you off about a mile away and you have to walk. The amount of time was perfect to look at the Visitor Center which is very well done. There are no snacks or beverages at the Center due to not wanting to attract bears. We were lucky to get a day without rain which made the walk to the falls enjoyable. We saw one eagle and no bears.

5.00This was a great tour. We were picked up at the port and driven to the glacier in a very nice coach. The guide was very informative on the ride over. Once there we were free to explore on our own. It was very easy to navigate. The amount of time allotted was perfect. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00The hike (easy) to Nugget Falls was beautiful, well worth the effort. The view of the glacier was spectacular. And the cherry on top was our extraordinary bus driver who was also a funny and entertaining tour guide along the way.

3.00The hike is very short and just goes through the forest force and back. 40 min each way + 10 min break. We haven’t learn much about Alaska facts or nature, though our guid provided a little information about it. Good to see the forest and walk through it, but the price should be significantly lower.
