In this ocean Mermaid Swimming Lesson, you will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to transform into a mermaid and explore the beautiful, underwater world of Maui's most scenic coastline! A professional mermaid instructor will give you a private, one-on-one swimming lesson in a mermaid tail of your choice, as well as teach you tips & tricks to help you improve your mermaid technique. All lessons take place in the calm, shallow, and protected waters of Makena Bay in South Maui. This cove offers extraordinary coastal views of Haleakala, Molokini, Pu'u O'lai, and the neighboring islands!
All tours include a FREE underwater digital photo package!
AVAILABLE TAIL & MONOFIN SIZES:
Child tail sizes: 6, 8, and 10.
Adult tail sizes: XS, S, M, L, XL
Child monofin sizes 1-4 (Jr 9 -13 with provided neoprene socks).
Adult monofin sizes: Men’s US 6 – 11.5 / Women’s: US 4.5 - 10.
Must be ages 6+. *(Note it says 'Adult' while choosing number of participants. This includes ages 6-99).

5.00One of the absolute highlights of our trip. I am a mom and went with my two daughters, and it was such a fun and magical time — for adults and kids alike. Aqua is AMAZING. So skilled and experienced, so good with kids (my girls were OBSESSED with her), so fun to hang with, and a great photographer, to boot! This is absolutely a memory that we will cherish for a lifetime, and we hope to return to our mermaid forms every time we have the good fortune to return to Maui. And, on top of all that, we get to relive the experience and revisit Maui when we look at the photos and videos she captured. She clearly loves her work, and it really shows. She made it so easy — she provides the tails and the masks and the adventure! All you have to do is get yourself there and be ready to soak in some magic. Aqua is the best!

5.00What a fun adventure. Aqua is the kindest person. She's patient and encouraging and we had so much fun learning how to swim with a monofin tail. We went as a group of 3 adults and two kids (12 and 9) was great for all ages. We also had Sky as a support for our group and he was so lovely, taking photos and then dragging our son around on a paddle board letting him 'snorkel' from the paddle board when he got too cold to stay in the water. He showed him eels and reef fish and that allowed the rest of us to focus on the mermaid lesson knowing that our son was well looked after and perfectly happy. The kids want to do it again!
This tour is what dreams are made of!

5.00I’ve always felt that I was a mermaid in my heart. For two hours, I got to make that dream come true thanks to Aqua. She was patient, kind and absolutely an amazing instructor and I can’t thank her enough. Follow the call of the ocean and be prepared for a perfect day.

5.00My daughter and I became mermaids for the morning and had a magical time. Aqua was so informative and sweet. We enjoyed swimming, snorkeling, and being mermaids. I highly recommend this activity

5.00Aqualina is very kind, professional and responsible and she sees safety as the top priority. Aqualina is also like an old friend to me! Makena Bay is a beautiful paradise, the water was calm and clear. I enjoyed myself so much in the ocean, and this lesson brightened my day and highlighted my trip to Maui. The photos and videos came out stunning. I'll highly recommend it to my family and friends!! I'm looking forward to coming back again!!

5.00Had such a wonderful experience with Aqua. Although we could not do the underwater photography due to safety concerns with the rough waves, we pivoted and did a beach/rock photoshoot. Felt magical in a tail, and very supported and uplifted by Aqua's instructions and cheerleading. Highly recommend the experience to anyone, you will be in safe hands with her.

5.00This was such a fun day my seven-year-old absolutely loved it. I even partook in the experience as well. The photo shoot was great and swimming in the water even saw a turtle great area for the excursion and aqua. The instructor was lovely. Highly recommend for a lasting memory and lots of fun!

5.00My wife and 8 yo daughter had the experience of a lifetime! Highly recommend this, book it! I tagged along and had a great time watching them become mermaids. Pictures turned out amazing and Aqua is truly one of the coolest people on Maui. Great experience.

5.00Our daughters have been wanting mermaid tails since they were young. At 12 and 13 we signed them up with Aqua as a surprise. She was soo professional, enthusiastic, and instructive. The girls had the best time and did amazing in the open water. The pictures and videos Aqua sent the next day were incredible. The girls wanted to go back the next day for an advanced lesson but our schedule didn’t allow it. Don’t hesitate. Book this experience!!!! Feeling like we need to return to Maui just for another lesson with Aqua!
