Noosa Learn to Surf offers specifically structured lessons to suit the absolute beginner through to competition surfers. Our specific 1-2-3 teaching method is unique worldwide and guarantees you'll be standing in your first lesson. We offer daily tuition, small group classes.
Group lessons run daily at 9am and 1.30pm for 2 hours duration. We operate 364 days per year excluding Xmas Day. Our surfing lessons can also be conducted in French if need be. All equipment included in the price.
Whatever your needs, Noosa Learn to Surf can cater to all. Change your life. learn to surf!
Please note: Minimum age: 7 years, must be able to swim 25 meters unassisted.

5.00We did a 2 hour surf day with Robby. My friend and I did this with zero experience. We both thought the lesson was great and we were prepared for the waves. We were able to do as much or as little as we wanted and got good feedback as well. Overall a great day and a great beginner lesson. Would definitely recommend!

5.00Great instructor - Dylan. It was fun and we all achieved something more than we expected. I’d say you need a certain level of fitness as is a full body workout.

5.00A wonderful few hours spent at Merrick’s surf school! It was my first time surfing & something that was on my bucket list of things to try whilst visiting Australia. Oakie (sorry if mis-spelt!), could sense I was a little apprehensive & looked after me so well, giving lots of encouragement & had heaps of patience! Thanks so much for making it all such a great experience :-) Would highly recommend Merricks to anyone wanting to try surfing.

3.00Provided with everything and really nice staff. We were in a group of 4 and I think with anymore people it would have been very crowded - not sure if they would give you two instructors. The issue was is that I was very bad at surfing (not the company’s fault). I understand that I can’t be given more attention than the other people in the group but I was floating in a different part of the sea trying to get to the group for at least 10 minutes, and no one came to help me. I found it very difficult to battle the waves and could have done with a little assistance or just advice before I went in on how to do it as I had never surfed before. Ended up with me getting quite badly hit in the face by the board and really struggling. I sat out on the second half of the lesson. Lovely staff and a nice surf school I just think there could have been a little more assistance when I was struggling so much.

5.00I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting to learn to surf. The instructors were great and had us standing up in no time. It was a really fun morning.
