The ancient monasteries remain the memorials of a glorious past of the Eastern Christian world till the present day. We will be able to visit one of the monasteries. After the visit, we will go downhill to the near towns of Kalabaka or Kastraki and have lunch or a coffee break, admiring the view of the mountain from that perspective.

1.00This company cancelled our trip two days before it was due to take place with no reason given. However you could still book it on the Viator website for the same day. This was going to be my birthday present from my wife and we felt really let down. Fortunately we were able to book the same trip for a substantially lower price with another company.

5.00A special day, it remains a fantastic trip for me . Meteora is a magnificent place and I suggest everyone to make this trip. History, nature, culture and especially monasteries on the roof of the mountains that make you dream. Organisation by Daniel was excellent. As well as our guide ( from Greek ) allowed to know and appreciate the wonders of Meteora.
