This is premium small-group wine touring at it's best! Our very small groups have a maximum of 6 guests and we regularly depart with less. We visit premium wineries and pay the tasting fees, so you get to try the best wines of the region. There is no set itinerary so each day is different. We know all the best wineries, trust your local guide to create the perfect day.
Some of our favourite wineries include Rockford, Langmeil, Rusden, Torbreck, Tomfoolery, Two Hands, Elderton, Gibson - and many many more!
Lunch is a special menu created by the chef, which will include a range of dishes for all to share. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch.
Please note: we do not visit mass-production wineries like Wolf Blass or Jacobs Creek to taste wine, nor breweries, gin distilleries, cheese shops, Maggie Beers, etc - This is a specialist wine tour, not a general sightseeing tour of the Barossa.

Barossa Valley
Start your day by being picked up from your Adelaide CBD accommodation around 9:15am in a luxurious tour vehicle. Along the way to the first winery, your wine guide will familiarize you with the region and its roots, along with Adelaide's other main wine producing regions. After a leisurely 60 minute drive you arrive in wine country, where you will get to taste premium wine from the best boutique producers as led by passionate and knowledgeable locals. Wineries visited could include the stunning Murray Street Vineyard, historic Langmeil, or custodians of the "Command" vineyard at Elderton to name but a few. Your guide chooses winery visits so you will get to try a good selection of premium wines which truly represent the region's different wine varieties, styles, and personalities.

After the second winery of the day, it's off to lunch at one of the regions best restaurants. Sit back and enjoy a delicious restaurant lunch at one of our fabulous restaurant partners. Enjoy a glass of local wine or beer as the perfect accompaniment to your seasonally inspired lunch.

5.00Absolutely amazing wine tasting day. Our guide Tom was brilliant, very well informed, friendly and professional. The tour included a beautiful lunch and all of the vineyards were welcoming. Highly recommend.

5.00Matt was a great tour guide to Barossa. He has an excellent knowledge of wines and the area. He chose a variety of smaller wineries but where we also would have the opportunity to likely access them in the US. The small group (we were 5) was perfect as our tastings were personalized. We had to stay on schedule but didn't seem too rushed.

5.00A excellent tour just four of us with driver and guide Paul. Lots of history of Adelaide and the Barossa on the way up. We were completely unaware of the German History beforehand. Visited four Wineries including Yalumba (our favourite Viognier) and three smaller ones. Great range of wines to try with some surprises including a sparking Shiraz.

5.00Whenever my wife and I visit wine growing areas we can’t help but take a wine tour and our trip to Adelaide was no different. Over the years we have learnt that the smaller tours with lunch offer a better experience as the organisers tend to select the smaller boutique wineries . This tour being no different. We were joined by another couple from Switzerland so we were a linguistically mixed group. Our driver, of a very comfortable vehicle , kept us all entertained and informed throughout the day long tour The 4 wineries we visited were small batch and all bar one have agents in the UK and Switzerland which we intend the contact upon our return home. 2 tastings in the morning followed by 2 in the afternoon demand lunch. The chosen venue was excellent and we all enjoyed the ‘ chef’s selection’ together with the obligatory glass of wine. We were surprised at the range of wines produced in Barossa , not just Shiraz , so had an enjoyable and informative day and would recommend this tour

2.00We booked a micro-group tour expecting personalized service tailored to the group, but unfortunately, the experience fell short. The driver was pushy, talked excessively, and seemed unable to read the group’s dynamic. Instead of a unique and memorable experience, we were taken to four wineries that felt obscure and underwhelming. At $350 per head, we expected so much more—especially a thoughtful itinerary and a more refined approach. In hindsight, we would have achieved much more with a self-drive experience.

5.00Big thanks to Matt who took good care of us during our day trip to Barossa. The micro group tour turned out to be a private tour of my family— just us four travelling. The choice of wineries (and Matt entertained my request!) and the restaurant for lunch was excellent. Besides, the histories and stories we shared were so enjoyable. And yeah, what a fun and memorable trip.

5.00We had a fantastic time on our wine tour yesterday. Matt was amazing and so accommodating when I came to all guests particular tastes. Lunch was super tasty and had a great time with the other guests. Would highly recommend to anyone else. Had a blast!
