Welcome for this fascinating tour. You'll be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam to start your day safari with the roughly 4-hour drive to Mikumi National Park. Enjoy great views of the country sides. On arrival, go straight into a game drive for a few hours, and then stop for lunch. After lunch, continue with the game drive for more wildlife sightings. Mikumi National Park is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. You'll have the chance to see a variety of animals, such as buffalo, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, and crocodiles. The game drives ends at 3pm, driving back to the city where you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is a tour that will put a smile on your face.

5.00We had an early morning tour by Steve to mikumi national park. Long drive but worth it we were able to see many Animals inclusive of Lions and Elephants. Overall, the experience is really great.

5.00This is the second time to visit Tanzania coast. This time round i decided to try Mikumi national park as is famed as some of the best parks to do on south. The team at Maasai mara safaris were quick to respond to my inquiry. The pick up was quite early, 4;00am, the guide explained we needed to arrive early in Mikumi. Everything was as promised. Smooth ride and great guide. I was able to spot lions, Big herds of elephants, wild beasts, buffaloes and many more. Will be back in summer for more trips. Very excited.

5.00My exploration of East africa through kenya and Tanzania ended with a visit to Mikumi national park. We were picked earlier than expected as the guide explained the distance was far. The park itself is beatiful with large herds of Elephants. We were able to spot the lions hunting a lonely Topi. Our guide mark was also friendly and did best to make sure we had many spots. Will definitely recommend.
