If you intend to visit Milan, a must is undoubtedly Leonardo DA Vinci’s Last Supper. The great work of the Tuscan genius, preserved in the refectory next to the Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie, is one of the most studied and imitated masterpieces in the world, but also one of the most mysterious and discussed. Follow us on this guided tour, discovering the history and secrets behind the Last Supper and the splendid Basilica of Santa Maria delle Grazie. During our guided tour of the Upper Room you will understand how every stroke, every detail, every brushstroke, every expression and gesture of the figures represented tells those “motions of the soul” of which Leonardo became the first inventor. And the Last Supper is a perfect DA painting and emotional narration.

Wonderful tour guide, Elisa. Of course, the viewing of the Last Supper was magnificent, but she made it so much better with her candid explanation.

Our guide was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable and made the experience of seeing Leonardo's masterpiece even more phenomenal. She ensured everyone in our group (about 20 people) understood her, that our earphones were working, that we were all comfortable, etc. The details she provided regarding the masterpiece and its restoration were necessary, I felt, to truly understanding what we were about to see. She also ended our tour with more interesting information. No time was wasted. A small note for travelers: The green fountain we were asked to meet in front of is a drinking fountain, not a "landmark" type fountain.
