This tour experience was amazing! The coach we drove in was smooth and spacious. Our guide, Benjamin, told us interesting facts along the drive to the cruise but also made sure to give us quiet moments for nap time lol. My tour came with a picnic lunch that did not disappoint! It came with a chicken sandwich (delicious), cheese & crackers, an Apple, chocolate coconut oat balls, potato chips, chocolate bar, and 2 chocolate chips cookies. Tea and coffee were complementary on the ship. I was able to sit at a table for lunch and then freely walk around without feeling like sardines packed on the ship. Milford Sound was stunning! The photos are beautiful but nothing compares to seeing it in person. Highly recommend this tour!!

Hard to find parking at meeting spot, so prepare for that if you're driving yourself. You might have to park in a garage and walk a smidge. Parking suggestions would have been helpful. Check in was easy. Got off on time. Interesting info given by bus driver on the way to the cruise. The picnic lunch provided was ok. There are no options and my husband didn't like the sandwich. I thought it was fine. The boat itself was fine. The views throughout the trip beautiful (we had a rare, sunny gorgeous day). Would recommend the fly back if you can afford it. But both ways was a bit tiring.

The description of the tour is misleading. Pictures of the cruise cover up the fact it’s a 12 hour return trip on a coach and 2 hours on a boat

This is a fantastic tour and great way to experience the hills, Mountains and countryside from the comfort of a spacious, air conditioned coach. Lots of photo opportunity stops, little walks and comfort breaks. Our driver, Benjamin, was fantastic, engaging, knowledgable and funny, he made the tour great - thank you Benjamin! My only criticism was the buffet lunch. It was onboard the boat on a lower deck and we had to queue for some time so we missed the first part of the tour really, it would be better if lunch was served on land before the trip started so I would recommend foregoing the lunch to get maximum scenery absorption time, it’s a minor criticism though as the food was nice. Just a bit like queuing for school dinners!

Our driver Paul is very good and responsible so make our long day go easily. It’s raining on the way to the cruise. We booked buffet for lunch, and it’s tasty. After meal, we had enough time on the deck and the sun came out. We also saw a dolphin chasing our boat.
