Milford Sound was amazing. The coach driver was fun and very informative. The lunch was a little disappointing, due to bread being soggy after being left in the packet. Ferry ride was fine enjoyed the day.
Don’t do it! Better ways to see Milford Sound.

Milford Sound is incredible. The issue is the 9 hour bus trip. Simply unpleasant, it kills the experience. Started to get a bit worried when the bus drivers tried to sell light plane tickets for the way back right after we started the drive! The trip is boring with 3 quick photo stops at sights for photos. Way back is just a comfort break half way. Commentary along the way is dreary, because there is not a lot to comment on (mostly farmland). For that matter, the bus drivers were not particularly friendly either, felt like a cattle drive. Even the toilet on board was basically sighted as out of bounds. Would be better to drive to Milford sound and simply buy a boat ticket.

The views are amazing, the coach was comfortable, not to mention the fantastic commentary. Be prepared for a long day!
