You are guaranteed a window seat with unimpaired views as you fly this incredible route to and from Milford Sound through a landscape of unbelievable grandeur and beauty. Encounter real mountain flying and marvel at the most remarkable snow-capped mountains and glaciers onboard our fixed-wing aircraft. Your knowledgeable, highly skilled local pilot providing interesting and informative commentary. Flying across the Southern Alps, out to the West Coast and the Tasman Sea before flying through the Fiord itself to land in Milford Sound.

Once in Milford, your pilot will accompany you to the boat terminal. Discover the natural wonders of Milford Sound aboard your cruise vessel with open-air viewing decks, a perfect location for some wildlife spotting. The Fiord is home to fur seal colonies, penguins, and dolphins, who love playing in the wake of the boat. You will cruise the length of the Fiord out to the Tasman Sea with a pass under Sterling Falls on the return.

Milford Sound

Once in Milford Sound, your pilot will accompany you from the airport to the boat terminal. Everything is organised for you, you don't have to worry about a thing! Step on board your cruise lasting at least 1hr 45mins, you will travel the length of the Fiord and out to the Tasman Sea. Stopping at waterfalls and points of interest along the way, if you're lucky you'll also get to experience the local wildlife - the dolphins love playing in the wake of the boat!

Sadly due to weather we were not able to go ! They were prompt in calling us and issuing a refund!! We are hoping to be able to reschedule in a week !

Totally worth it! Our pilot, Will, was super knowledgeable - enjoyed all the facts and info about the landscape. He had just the right level of dry humor. :) The flight was amazing - we lucked out with great weather. Made for a great day in the air and in the Sound. This team has it dialed in. Everyone was helpful & friendly which made for a great experience. Highly recommend!

This was such an incredible experience. All of the staff was friendly, timely, and professional. I was picked up from my hotel by their complementary service and taken to the airport for the flight. The pilot was friendly and narrated throughout the flight! The cruise was beautiful, truly the best part of my entire trip in New Zealand. Milford Sound is a must see !!!

Fantastic experience after scenic bus tour and watercraft cruise of Milford Sound. The views returning to Queenstown with mountain and fjord flyover were magnificent. Our pilot Will was fun, knowledgeable, courteous, and safe. I can not recommend the experience enough!

Excellent,skilled pilot in Isobel,who was also the perfect tour guide,giving us a fabulous commentary whilst flying over Milford Sound and back to Queenstown.100% the best way to appreciate the stunning natural beauty of the area.Loved every minute and would highly recommend.
