  Fantastic flight and cruise experience. Awesome customer service - we were cancelled from another provider the day before due to bad weather grounding flights and managed to get a 1:30pm flight the next day. From the phone inquiry to the in person sign up to the preparations for flight departure and the actual flight and cruise the service and experience was 100%. Absolutely recommend this company and experience. Brilliant female pilot - Emma who was not only expert in flying but really personable and extremely knowledgeable in sharing information during the flight to and from and walking the group from the airfield to the boat departure. Boat cruise was also fabulous. Relaxed and comfortable. Again great commentary from the skipper and brilliant staff customer service.

  Beautiful staff: gracious and accommodating. Stunning flight path with experienced pilots with a co-pilot chair for one lucky kiddo per flight. Great pictures and better memories! THANK YOU SO MUCH AIR MILFORD!

  Fantastic experience. One of the highlights of our tour of New Zealand. Experienced and knowledgeable pilot who made the trip more memorable. If you can afford it far better than sitting on the bus, a real treat. Highly recommend.

  I thought Milford Sound visit would be the highlight of my trip. It turns out it wasn’t part of my trip at all. I booked the flight/cruise trip to Milford for my family even though we could drive there. The tickets were quite expensive but it’s Christmas, we would like to get the best out of our time there. When we arrived at the Air Milford office at 8:20 a.m. on the flight day, they postponed the morning departure due to bad weather and asked us to call at 11:30 a.m. for the afternoon departure at 1:30 p.m. When I called them at 11:31 a.m., they asked us to be at their office by 12:00 p.m. We rushed there and did an air tour over Milford Sound for an hour. Apparently, the cruise was cancelled without any explanation! The team claimed that they had told all passengers the flight/cruise had changed to flight only. Obviously, I wasn’t informed. What made me feel bad was when I saw other flights gliding as usual around Milford and cruises operating as usual in the afternoon. The decision to cancel the cruise was just slack. Again, no official reason has been given, they can push everything to weather anyways. They refunded 30% of the payment due to my strong request, compared to their initial willingness to refund only 13.5%. So this is my experience, I am sure there are ones had amazing experience too. I just feel like they should highlight the chances of cancellation on the booking page so the ones who plan to visit Milford Sounds can have a better understanding of the situations and make more suitable choices.

  My wife and I really enjoyed this morning trip to Milford sound. We chose to take this flight and cruise package and the flight over saved us around 8 hours as the alternative would be to take a bus or having to drive a rental car from Queenstown where we were based. The trip package was amazing and included a pickup from hotel to the local airport and return to hotel at the end of trip. The staff were friendly and our pilot Antony Sproull was first class, well mannered and personable. The flight was in a 14 seat Cessna of which Air Milford has 4 of this planes in their fleet. Antony provided commentary during the flight of mountains, waterfalls and famous trails. Anthony flew the plane smoothly and the take off and landings were a perfect 10. The chartered watercraft we had as part of the package at Milford sound was only 50% full (plenty of space) with warm muffins and coffee included and was clean and warm with an inside seating area out of the elements and a viewing deck up top.   We had an excellent experience with Air Milford on our fly/cruise/fly trip to Milford Sound on December 2nd. The entire team was professional, courteous, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. The weather was perfect—sunny and clear—and one of us even had the chance to sit in the copilot seat, which was phenomenal and so appreciated. The flight felt safe, smooth, and unforgettable. The cruise itself was equally impressive. Air Milford partnered us with a smaller boat carrying a smaller group, which made the experience far more intimate and enjoyable. The guide was fantastic: friendly, knowledgeable, and full of insights about Milford Sound’s geology, wildlife, and history. Yes, the trip is a significant investment, but it’s absolutely worth it. We consider it a once-in-a-lifetime experience and the highlight of our month-long trip to New Zealand. We took loads of photos and will remember this day forever. Milford Sound is spectacular and unlike anywhere else. If you’re in the Queenstown area, don’t miss it. We highly recommend Air Milford.

  The flight and cruise were seamlessly organised from start to finish and all the staff we encountered were professional, helpful and friendly. We felt safe throughout and thoroughly enjoyed the amazing landscape from the air and from the boat. It was a wonderful experience; at times you felt as if you could reach out and touch the snow on the mountain tops and on the boat getting so close to the fur seals and the waterfalls was a highlight. The freshly baked muffins for morning tea were an added treat! Highly recommended in every way.

  My experience with Air Milford was excellent. I called the day before to check the weather and confirm my pickup location, which had changed since my booking, and they were very helpful in updating it. I also called again in the morning to double-check the weather, and someone picked up right away each time — everyone I spoke to was lovely. Captain Hank was amazing: very knowledgeable, reassuring, and he gave us a heads-up about potential turbulence, which I really appreciated. The cruise was also incredible — the crew was knowledgeable, and we were lucky enough to see seals and penguins! Everyone was so friendly and made the whole experience truly enjoyable.
