Car Parking: On arrival at Milford Sound you can park at the Milford Sound carpark. Please allow 10 minutes to walk from the main carpark to the Milford Wharf Visitor Centre. Alternatively, you can park free of charge at Deepwater Basin Carpark and walk over to Freshwater Basin to the Cruise Terminal. This walk is approximately 30 minutes in duration, so additional time will need to be allocated in order to do this comfortably and arrive at the terminal 15 minutes prior to your cruise for check-in.

Fiordland National Park (Te Wahipounamu)
Fiordland National Park is in the southwest of New Zealand’s South Island. It’s known for the glacier-carved fiords of Doubtful and Milford sounds. A beech forest trail on the sandy Milford shore offers views of towering Mitre Peak.

1.00Booked over a month in advance and had printed confirmation in hand. Was told we were not in their system as having a tour booked and there was no room on the bus. This was incredibly frustrating and not very professional for a tour company.

5.00We had a great experience from start to finish. The coach to Milford Sound was comfortable and our drivers were informative and hilarious. The cruise itself was mind blowing. We loved being on the small boat and getting right in the mist of the waterfalls. We also got to see seals and even hear them bark. Truly a remarkable day and tour!

5.00Staff knowledge and skills in manoeuvring vessel into the best position to take photo's and to experience the sounds at their best was incredible. Loved every minute of experience, would thoroughly recommend to everyone to experience with this organisation.

5.00Wonderful day cruising through the majestic mountains and pristine waters of Milford Sound. Our nature guide Ida was very engaging and kept us entertained as she educated us about this beautiful part of the world. We also loved the smaller boat for a more personalised experience. Highly recommend.

5.00Very informative guides and a great trip out to the mouth of the sound and back. Whilst there were a lot of people on board, it didn't feel overcrowded. Very easy booking process and we were able to change our cruise time as we arrived earlier than expected and the team were more than happy to accommodate. The free tea and coffee and water is an added benefit and plenty of paid food options were available as well. Would definitely recommend this experience.

5.00The ride through the Milford tunnel was an experience. Once there you should go to the far end of the parking lot for the cruise terminal. It had rained that morning so the waterfalls were amazing. The captain pointed out many beautiful spots. Was definitely worth the ride.

5.00Excellent experience. Arrived very early for cruise as traffic quiet. Quickly moved to an earlier cruise and jumped on board. Not busy. Weather not the best but still atmospheric. Information from Captain was extremely detailed and thorough. Was able to revise my geographical terminology with ease!! A worthwhile expedition.

5.00Great way to see Milford Sound with no hassle. Bus was on time. Peter gave a commentary the whole bus journey. Very informative with some humour too. Very busy road so bus means you see far more as you journey there. Boat ride was very smooth and again informative. Fantastic weather so we got right out to the Tasmin Sea. Definitely recommend

5.00Milford sound was really extraordinary experience! The captain of our boat was very kind and gave us some details and info of the scenery and things we saw. 2 hours boat ride was really enough and effective. Really recommend!
