  Great, exciting tour with the great guide Marion, who is deeply rooted and networked in the local cultural scene and knew a lot about stages, Cape Verdean music and artists, with many live music offers (which you could only tease sooner - there was much more to discover ) - likable, arousing curiosity about more culture, “more Cape Verde”.

  The tour itself was interesting and entertaining, but at the very expensive price we assumed that drinks and snacks were included. €50 for a one-way tour, where you just take a quick look at restaurants and cafes, is absolutely outrageous and unjustifiable. I would definitely recommend booking a local guide on site.

  We had a lovely evening together with Marion. She really knows Mindelo and showed us a lot of nice restaurants and bars with live music. I believe that you could not find all these places on your own. You must have someone like Marion to show you. She also knows about the history of the islands and gave us good information. I can strongly recommend this tour.

• Exciting Mindelo Night Tour with Heart and Local Flair

  We had originally planned a night tour in Mindelo for September 30, 2025, but unfortunately the guide did not appear. After we contacted Marion, the organizer, she responded immediately and tried everything to reach the guide – unfortunately without success. Nevertheless, she was incredibly helpful and spontaneously offered us an alternative tour in English. We then went on this tour with Kenny, a friendly young man from São Vicente. He took us through several bars and showed us some interesting spots in Mindelo. Even though there wasn't too much going on at the beginning of October, Kenny went out of his way to make us have a great evening. At the end we sat together in a bar, listening to live music and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere. Overall, it was a very nice and authentic experience that we would not want to miss despite the small initial chaos. Conclusion: Marion and her team are warm and dedicated, and Kenny was a great guide – highly recommended to get to know Mindelo even at night! 🌟

  Due to the low season, there were only two of us on the tour - fortunately for us, because so the evening with Marion became like an evening among girlfriends. She brought us closer to the Mindelo music scene with warmth and joy, took us to surprising places and shared her knowledge and passion with us. Thanks for the great evening!

  The guide is a friendly, fun German lady who has lived in Mindelo for years. We didn't walk but she drove me around by car and we went to a place a bit outside the city centre which I wouldn't have found. Fantastic local music and food and thanks to her driving I could load up on local grogue and pontche. It was interesting to talk to her and she gave me plenty of very useful tips for my stay.
