  Ivan was an excellent guide. He was knowledgeable about the land, the culture, and the biology of the area. He was prompt and a very safe driver. Most importantly, he was very very kind. He made sure that we enjoyed ourselves and offered us the opportunity to customize our experience. We visited the hummingbird farm, hiked to a waterfall, visited the butterfly garden, and since we did all this quickly, we had time to also learn how to make artisinal chocolate after lunch. After such a long day he still maintained conversation and gave us really interesting information about the area. Highly, highly recommend!

  We had a fantastic trip with Andreas. We had a private tour and that gave us a lot of flexibility to do what we wanted to see and flex the itinerary. We visited waterfalls, humming bird sanctuary, a cocoa tour and the butterfly house. All were great small businesses that were sustainably run. Andreas went above and beyond expectations, and had a great knowledge of local fauna and flora too. 5* from us

  We had a great day with Miriam as our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable as well as personable. We took this tour on our first full dsy in Ecuador and the info she shared provided a great orientation to this beautiful country.

  This was such a cool experience! The scenery, butterflies, hummingbirds an just so much lysh greenery. Our guide was so kind and informative.

  Very enjoyable day trip with knowledgeable and friendly guide Freddy. As this was a private tour, Freddy gave us options on what see and we did not feel rushed at all. We were picked up from our hotel in Quito and it was quite a long and windy route. This was not too bad on way there as we stopped to see various sites, but it is worth noting that after the chocolate tasting you may feel a little car sick. The highlight was the humming birds that literally will land and eat out of your hand.
