Happy Bay, which is perhaps the most charming of all the island’s secluded beaches, features hills grazed by goats and shores lined with tall palm trees, making it the preferred spot for honeymooners. Pressing along to your final destination you will pass one of the island’s longest bays, unveiling the town of Grand Case, a small fisherman village that now serves as the restaurant capital of the Caribbean. You will have a memorable moment sliding your Rhino with ease through the waters of its bay and pulling close to discover the village shore. Take The Plunge Looking out at the horizon, you can see your the object of your journey, Creole Rock, which is a rock formation emerging from the water at the far end of the bay, as well as one of the finest snorkeling destinations in the Caribbean. Moor your Rhino to the guide’s boat, put on your mask and fins, and jump right into the crystal clear sea to meet the inhabitants of this aquatic paradise. Experience this colorful underwater world as you snorkel under the watchful supervision of your guide. Enjoy floating on warm tropical waters as the playful sergeant-major fish surround you, watch the colorful parrot fish having a feast among the coral, or look for the lobsters’ antennas peeping out of holes. Conchs, crabs, and starfish starfish can be found inhabiting the ocean floor, and if you are lucky enough, you can also spot stingrays, turtles, barracudas or even dolphins hopping around the surf. The entire formation and surrounding area is part of La Reserve Naturelle de St. Martin, a protected government marine park. Enjoy! If you're not a snorkeler, you can relax on the Rhino soaking up the sun rays, swim over to the rock and hit land, or enjoy a complimentary drink under the Caribbean sunshine while listening to one of your guides thousand anecdotes. With Rhino Safari, the Caribbean is at your fingertips.

The speed boats were fun. I had to cut my tour short due to getting a late start. I had to be back on the cruise ship. The tour stated the start was at 1 pm, but we didn’t get started until closer to 2 PM.

Fun activity. Started an hour and a half late and they did not have snorkels for us so there was no snorkeling on the trip.

We have taken Rhino adventures for many years and this is the first time I have been disappointed. I will preface my review by saying that my Nephew, his Wife and their Kids really enjoyed the experience. My experience was completely different. It all started when both my Nephew's boat and my boat stalled several times while circling waiting for the other boats to get loaded. My Nephew and his Son had to switch boats twice. When mine died a 3rd time, our guide was frustrated (we had been messing with boats at that point about 30 minutes) and decided that I should just ride with him, which I did. I told him that I would just skip the ride, but he said he does not leave any passengers behind. Unfortunately, this wasn't the experience I paid for or was promised (drive your own boat). When we returned, I asked to speak with the Owner to get a refund for my portion of the trip. He said "you got to go on the ride" and would not give me a full refund. He authorized Julie to provide me with $50 back (on my $149+ ride I paid). Needless to say, I was not satisfied with that outcome. He's obviously not concerned with customer satisfaction. It is very apparent to me that the Owner is making a lot of money on this business, but unfortunately, he is not pouring any back into the equipment. The boats are old, the motors are not well maintained and that significantly impacts the overall experience. In addition, now that they no longer are able to go to Creole Rock for snorkeling, the snorkeling at Friars Beach is not nearly as nice. We will not be continuing customers of the Rhino's. It's unfortunate!

This was such an awesome excursion. The ride to the Rhino boats gave you a glimpse of the island. Riding the boats was easy and a great way to explore the waterfront of St. Maarten and the Simpson beach area was gorgeous!

We were lucky enough to have a private tour! We told our guide, Terrell (hopefully I got that right) what we were most interested in and he made sure we were able to see everything we asked about. I was a little nervous about how comfortable they’d be being basically inflatables, but they were easy to use and comfortable to ride. Our guide took awesome pics for us and was super friendly, knowledgeable and answered all kinds of questions I had about the island.
