• Wouldn’t recommend- saw sea turtles though

  To start with the good. We got to see sea turtles and it was amazing and very special. The rest of the experience was not that great. To start off they say to check in at 5:45, no one showed up from the crew until after 6. Then once we got on the boat it was so packed with people it took away from the experience. We were packed in like sardines and I couldn’t even see the ocean while riding to our snorkeling destinations. You only snorkel for about an hour and the rest of the time is spent riding on the boat so it wasn’t fun that we were in the interior of the boat. My suggestion to get on quick so you can sit on the front part of the boat. Next the crew seemed annoyed with the passengers presence the entire time. If you asked them a question they would huff and puff before answering. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this. I am sure that if they wouldn’t pack the boat to the brim it would be more enjoyable.

  Got lucky on the way back to the dock and saw two whales! Captain took it sow and let us all really enjoy the view!

  This experience was unlike any other!! The staff aboard the ship were so attentive and fun! The food was very good, the information was incredibly helpful and the vibes were immaculate. A member of our party became very sea sick and they couldn’t have been kinder or more accommodating. 12/10 would recommend!

  Wonderful crew, comfortable boat with nice food available, incredible snorkeling at both locations: Molokini and turtle town. Will do again next year!

  We recently took the Molokini and Turtle Town Adventure and came away with a mix of impressions. Right from the start, the crew stood out for being incredibly friendly and welcoming. They worked hard to create a fun and relaxed vibe, which we really appreciated throughout the trip. That said, some parts of the experience left us a bit disappointed. For one, there were no clear instructions on where to park, which made the start of the day more stressful than it needed to be. The first snorkeling stop, Molokini Crater, was underwhelming, to say the least. There were only about 2 or 3 different types of fish, very few of them and little else to look at, which I think was a bit discouraging. Based on so many other reviews of this area, we were expecting something much different. I would not recommend this part of the trip, unfortunately. Thankfully, the second location turned things around - snorkeling with sea turtles (Turtle Town) was the highlight of the trip. It was an incredible experience and exactly what we had hoped for when we booked the Adventure. Food was another area that could’ve been handled better. The sandwiches ran out because some guests took more than their share. Several of us were still in the water with the turtles and came back to find nothing left, until someone asked the crew and they brought out another tray. The photographer did capture some great moments, but the pricing was steep - $45 for a single photo or $135 for all 2,000 photos, most of which were of other guests/families. While the full package was technically the better deal, it wasn’t a great value for us. One unexpected highlight was when the boat stopped so we could watch whales along the way. That surprise encounter added a really special touch to the day and helped make the outing more memorable. All in all, the friendly staff, sea turtles, and whale sighting were definite highlights, but the trip would’ve been much better with clearer communication, a stronger first snorkeling spot, and better organization around food and photos.
