Fort Jesus Museum
Fort Jesus built by the Portuguese in the 16th Century. The site chosen was a coral ridge at the entrance to the harbor and was built to secure the safety of Portuguese living on the East Coast of Africa. It has had a long history of hostilities of the interested parties that used to live in Mombasa. Omani Arabs attacked the Fort from 1696 to 1698. Between 1837 and 1895, the Fort was used as barracks for the soldiers. When the British protectorate was proclaimed on the 1st of July 1895, the Fort was converted into a prison. The Fort is now an important historical landmark in the East African region.

we did a day trip to tsavo east from mombasa. our guide was benjamin. he is a calm guy, explained things slowly and didnt rush anything, which i liked. saw elephants near the water hole, just drinking and moving around together. that was a nice moment. also we stopped near a big red termite mound and saw some reptiles on it, the color of the soil here is something else. the park is huge and sometimes its just quiet. i liked that part. no noise, just the wind and the view. we also saw a lion resting in the shade, everyone in the car went silent for few minutes. day felt simple and real. nothing fancy, just nature and time. came back a bit tired but with good memories

We did a one day private safari to Tsavo East national Park and it was absolutely amazing. We have really good communication with Everline before we even landed in Kenya. We was picked up at 4.30am from our hotel by Benjamin who was a fantastic tour guide. He shared lots of information about the animals and could be more helpful and wanted us to have the best time. We was very fortunate to see Lions, Zebras, Elephants and so much more. Could not recommend these guys enough they was amazing. Thank you ❤️
