Enjoy a scenic drive to Monaco, passing through Nice, Villefranche Bay, and Monaco. Stop in Eze to visit the medieval village and learn about perfume-making at Fragonard (note: a few steps to reach the top). Afterward, drive through La Turbie and see the 2000-year-old Trophy of the Alps before arriving in Monaco.
Explore the Casino Square in Monte-Carlo, take a ride on the Formula 1 circuit, and visit the old town with the Prince’s Palace and Cathedral. Witness the Changing of the Guards at 11:55 am (no visit inside the Prince’s Palace).
You’ll have free time to explore Monaco at your own pace. The tour offers a perfect mix of sightseeing, culture, and relaxation.
The guide will provide information in the minivan, allowing free time to explore.

Vieux Eze
En route to Monaco, make a first stop to discover the medieval village of Eze, one of the most picturesque sites of the French Riviera. Dating from the Middle Ages, the village was built on top of the rocky outcrop for security reasons. The walls of the twelfth century will be dismantled in 1706 by order of Louis XIV. Take the cobbled streets and reach the top where you can find today the exotic garden and the castle ruins, the view is amazing (1,400 ft / 427 meters high). Stop to discover the process of perfume at the perfum factory Fragonard.
La Turbie
Go through the village of La Turbie, also called the "Monaco terrace" because of the panoramic view of the Principality of Monaco. Admire the ruins of an imposing monument (164 ft/ 50 meters high) : the Trophy of the Alps, dedicated to the Emperor Augustus, built 7 BC on the road that linked Italy to Cimiez (the Roman Quarter Nice) longtime ago.

5.00Amazing tour to see a lot and explore around French Riviera in a comfort way. Alex was the best professional guide and driver, as he would provide lots of history and he was very supportive with any queries or extra questions. It was a perfect mix of sightseeing and comfort in a small group tour. I definitely recommend this tour.

4.00You can't go wrong with this tour. The only thing we found that time in Monaco was not sufficient, as Parking (elevators after parking take time there), walking to see the change of guards, traversing the whole park, having lunch, using the bathroom, taking pictures around the cathedral, and walking back again can barely be done in 85-90 minutes. The extra time spent at the factory should have been utilized for other parts. That said, it was one of the best of the three tours we took in the French Riviera.

5.00Rainer was the perfect personality to help unite 4 couples from all across the world into a wonderful 7 hour tour of Eze, Monaco and Monte Carlo. He landed us at a gathering spot, gave us some insight and set us on self-guided, personal wanderings which allowed each couple to enjoy the time away. These are crowded and busy places, and tour simply made each destination easily accessible with a simple booking procedure. To all, take advantage of this Viator opportunity.

3.00The tour was with Liven Up Nice. The transport was comfortable and the places visited were well worth seeing. Unfortunately the information shared by the tour guide was disappointing. It was difficult to hear the commentary in the van and when being shown the sites, the tour guide was well ahead of the group, only sharing information with those with him. He had no consideration for those trailing the group (one gentleman could not walk fast) and made no attempt to make the group inclusive.

5.00We had a fantastic time touring and our guide Zara was excellent. She was informative, pleasant and entertaining. My teenage kids especially enjoyed the rides to and from our destination. Lots of interesting facts shared with humour as well. Plenty of time shared to walk around and take I the sites and the operation was like clock work.
