It is a very flexible half day option We'll meet in our office, we'll get the group together and we'll be done, we'll travel 30 minutes to Monte Alban. Our guide will be waiting for us either in Spanish or English (choose ) We will buy our entrance tickets (Not Included $210 MXN Foreign/$105 Domestic January 2026) and start our tour We are very well known for the quality of our guides, passionate , experts and make the visit very enjoyable, review our reviews . Our guide explains the history of the archaeological site (Duration Spanish Explanation 1hr - 1.30hr) (English 2hrs ) and then we will have free time to take photos The guide and/or driver will recommend the time to meet us at the end of the tour. (Optional) *If you want to be on site longer you can take advantage of our collective shuttle service to Oaxaca every hour WITHOUT COST , ask our guide and operator for more information Return will be 30 min to the center of the CD.

5.00Went into this not sure what to expect. But Miquel was so informative and excited about sharing the history of the people and the ruins that we couldn’t walk away and not be glad we made the trip. Definitely a must see experience!

5.00Great service, and for once, they didn't pressure us for a review like so many other tours do! Transport was as smooth as can be expected up a mountain road. Our guide was excellent: the right level of enthusiasm without being over the top, excellent English, and knowledgable of course. We were given a good amount of information, and not just what was written on plaques, and then given about an hour to walk around the ruins and small museum ourselves.

5.00You will meet in center of Oaxaca and travel in bus to Monte Albán. Our guide (Miguel) did such a good job of making the ruins come to life by providing more context and even highlighting additional artifacts with use of magazines. We would never have gotten as much from our tour without Miguel's expertise. We really enjoyed his approach! We had about 45min of "free time" after the guided tour finished to look at the ruins in closer detail and visit the indoor museum. Go early because it will be hot! Bring water. There is a small restaurant along with the museum for drinks and snacks. We then traveled back to the city center on the bus.

5.00Our tour guide is an excellent guide. His knowledge of Monte Alban was very impressive. We learned a great deal about the Zapotec civilization: culture, linguistics, traditions, astrology, etc. We will definitely recommend him you our friends and family who plan to visit Oaxaca.

5.00Our guide Miguel was very knowledgeable and passionate. The guided tour lasted for about 2hrs, then we had 1hr of free time to explore by ourselves. Good balance and ample time! Alternatively, they offered to take us back to the city at a later time if we wanted. Great experience overall!

5.00Communication via WhatsApp was slow, but once contracted, the tours were very good. I spent half a day in Monte Albán and a full day in Hierve el Agua, and they were very good.

5.00Wear comfortable shoes and wear a hat. Excellent Tour. Our Tour Guide Miguel is so knowledgeable about Monte Alban history. I love this company, I will use it again soon.
