It is a very flexible half day option We'll meet in our office, we'll get the group together and we'll be done, we'll travel 30 minutes to Monte Alban. Our guide will be waiting for us either in Spanish or English (choose ) Let’s buy our entrance tickets (Not Included $100 - January 2025) and start our tour We are very well known for the quality of our guides, passionate , experts and make the visit very enjoyable, review our reviews . Our guide explains the history of the archaeological site (Duration Spanish Explanation 1hr-1.30hr)(English 2hrs )and then we will have free time to take photos The guide and/or driver will recommend the time to meet us at the end of the tour.(Optional ) *If you want to be on site longer you can take advantage of our collective shuttle service to Oaxaca every hour WITHOUT COST , ask our guide and operator for more information Return will be 30 min to the center of the CD.

5.00Miguel and the Lesa’s team were great. Tour left on time. At Monte Alban Miguel gave us a clear and interesting explanation of the history of the site and Zapotec people so we could appreciate what we were seeing and then showed us around. Outstanding tour. Best yet in Mexico

5.00The guide Miguel provided an enormous amount of very useful information, making the people and culture of Monte Alban come alive for us. He answered all our questions thoroughly and also questions we did not even know to ask. He also helped my husband up and down a few sets of steep steps.

5.00This could not have been a more fantastic tour! Miguel Lescas was our guide, and he was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and most of all deeply passionate about the history and cultural significance of Monte Alban. He studies linguistics, and gave us a fascinating lesson on how to interpret the Zapotec pictograms. He also did a wonderful job contrasting what we were seeing on the tour with how Monte Alban would have looked at the height of its prominence, and he described Zapotec routines and rituals in vivid detail. Miguel really brought Monte Alban to life, and it was his uniquely skilled guidance that made this tour better than any other tour of its kind that we have experienced. I could not recommend more highly!

5.00From experience, I’ve found that monuments are best explored with a guide—and Luis did not disappoint. He was extremely knowledgeable and shared the information in a way that was engaging, easy to understand, and fun to listen to. Highly recommend this tour!
