Kayaking in Monterey is often the highlight of any trip to the area. When checking into our shop, we will orient you on the perfect route to see all the wildlife in the area. Included in the rental is splash gear to keep you warm and drier and we also include a dry bag to take out cameras or phones to collect pictures of the amazing wildlife and scenery. Kayak rentals have no time limit and we encourage people who are trying this for the first time. We give a great orientation as to how to maneuver the equipment and how to stay safe. 5.00What a great way to explore the beautiful coast and wildlife! Staff were energetic and helpful. Safety brief, gear and shelves for personal items are in the storefront on the street. Then down a set of stairs you launch & kayak on your own time. The earlier the better for easier entry due to tides. Convenient waiver QR code inside if you forget to do it online. Waterproof bags are perfect for wallet, phone, keys and a small water bottle.

5.00Awesome awesome experience! Really recommend this place! It is such a beautiful area to kayak and the people are so lovely and helpful. The view was so beautiful and seeing otters and sea-lions was such a treat!

3.00I went ocean kayaking on October 27 with Adventure Tour. The front-desk agent was rushed and rude, which made check-in stressful. The coach was friendly but not very hands-on, so beginners might find it challenging. The scenery was beautiful, but the waves were choppy and conditions tough. I’d recommend bringing an experienced friend or choosing a calmer spot if you’re new to ocean kayaking.
