As a protected marine sanctuary rich with nutrients, the Monterey Bay Submarine Canyon thrives with a bounty of breathtaking wildlife including Humpback Whales, Killer Whales, Gray Whales, Blue Whales, Sperm Whales, Risso Dolphins, Long Beaked Common Dolphin, Bottlenose Dolphin, Dall’s Porpoise, Mola Mola aka Ocean Sunfish, Jellyfish, Sea Turtles, Sea Lions, Pelicans, Sea Otters and so much more! Board the 2 largest boats in the Monterey fleet the 110ft. Princess Monterey and the 100ft Atlantis Monterey. The tour last about three hours,The guide and the captain were very nice, and knowledgeable about the marine fauna. To be able to see such amazing creatures in their natural environment It was a magnificent experience that we will always remember.

The experience was great! The crew was great! The weather was FREEZING! Believe the reviews when they say to dress warm!!! Take gloves....seriously! We did see whales! Mission accomplished! 🐋

Probably the best whale watching tour I’ve been on. Whales came right up to the boat and I got the best photos/videos of a whale I’ve ever gotten.
Tour was cancelled last minute.

Sadly, an hour before our trip, we were informed our boat was cancelled (around 20 mins before we arrived to the wharf). We had made the trip to Monterey bay especially for the whale watching tour, so prepare to be disappointed in case there is cancellation. We were told the winds were too high but other boats still went out. We have been told we will receive a refund, so fingers crossed.

Everything was well organised , but unfortunately there was a medical emergency when we got 40 mins out into the ocean , so we had to abort the trip and return to the harbour. This was not the fault of the company in any way , just an unfortunate incident and fully understandable. I was informed by the tour company that I will receive a full refund for all my party , but haven’t heard anything yet , 5 days on. Fingers crossed.
