Overall this was a great trip and good value for money. Before the trip, the meeting point was changed 3 times which was not helpful for planning especially as we were staying the other side of the city. This meant that it was an extremely early start to get to the meeting point on time but it was worth it. The guides were friendly and the trip was well organised. Unfortunately, it rained on the day we visited but the hiking trail is a well constructed path and despite the weather was easy to negotiate. Because of the rain, it was not a day for leisurely exploring around the Monastery but there is plenty of time to do this and on a good day the views would be great. The food and drinks at the cafe are expensive so taking a picnic would be a more cost effective option. We also took the train back down the mountain to meet the coast, the views from the train were also great.

Unbelievable views and the trail to the cross was worth the effort! Our guide Christopher had fun facts and in depth knowledge.

Omg! Best travel tour guide I ever had. Delphine Gidoin is one of the best, knowledgeable people who gave such detail of the area. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe have some of the highlights of what she told us in a pamphlet. Because a lot of noise around that area and we couldn’t hear her very well. She was awesome tho! Great tour.
