For transportation efficiency, the entire group will travel together in one comfortable, air-conditioned bus, and upon arrival, the participants will be divided into smaller groups of up to 15 people per guide.
Tour may be affected due to special circumstances
On Saturdays and Sundays there may be delays in the tour due to the high number of visitors to the monastery.
On high occupancy days, the Rack Railway will be used instead of the Aerial Cable Car

5.00Carlos, our guide, and Christian, our driver, were wonderful!!! Very accommodating and flexible! They were friendly and knowledgeable and tailor made our trip just for us!! We loved every minute!

2.00None of us enjoyed this tour. Additionally, the guide was a liar. We were headed onto a minibus with another "small group" and driven up the mountain. The other group was dropped off first, then we proceeded to Montserrat. The guide shuttled us to the Black Madonna where we a waited for an extended period of time. He then told us we could not enter the church because Mass was being said. He sent us off to the "really great" museum which was not really great. Then, he had us meet back at the church entrance at 12:30. But, this was too close to when the boys choir was supposed to sing, so they wouldn't let us in. The crowning glory of this trip was spending an extra half hour going out of the way to pick up the other group. No way. Definitely would NOT recommend this tour. Gave two stars because nothing bad happened and the pastries were good. Have been to Montserrat before and loved it. Definitely DO visit, just pick a different tour.

5.00Myself and my family visited Montserrat. We had a wonderful experience, our tour guide, Carlos was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us around and explained everything to us. Would recommend doing this, when in Barcelona

5.00Amazing views, interesting history and spectacular majesty of the monestary and cathedral. Views of the Black Madonna were near impossible without an additional ticket and long lines. That part was disappointing. The lunch was the best part and extremely delicious and memorable. Mateo and Martina were great guides.

3.00Unfortunately it was overcast and drizzly on the day we went so visibility of the mountains and view were obscured, which was one of the main draw cards for us. However our guide Deph was like a little ray of sunshine. You could tell she was genuinely passionate about Monserrat and nature and was herself a highlight of the day

4.00Carlos was patient, informative and knowledgeable about the area. We would’ve given five stars except for the weather -lots of fog. We enjoyed the hike and seeing the mountain goat!

5.00The tour was excellent and very beautiful and informative. Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and able to answer any questions. There was a bit of confusion about the meeting place and what groups we were in, but that was relatively minor.

5.00Nice trip and hike. Hike is mostly downhill so it is not bad for even old people. Lots of history and good scenery for pictures
