If you really want to get to know Barcelona and Catalonia, a visit to Montserrat is a must. This day tour combines a visit to this magical site with a wonderful food and wine experience. Ride a cogwheel train to the top of Montserrat Mountain while admiring its spectacular views. Explore a winery set in a 10th-century castle owned by the same family for 36 generations. Tasting top-quality wines and enjoying local gastronomy will be highlights of your trip.

Tours start at 9:45 a.m. Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.
We follow all health and safety guidelines issued by authorities to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.

5.00We ran into trouble trying to get a taxi, and a representative of the tour company called uses to see why we were delayed. They were able to delay departure for almost 10 minutes until we arrived out of breath. We are very grateful for this consideration. Rubi was a fantastic guide, very caring of my wife’s walking difficulties, very knowledgeable, and we highly recommend him and the company he works for.

5.00This tour was contrast to crowded Barcelona. Montserrat offers an almost spiritual atmosphere—still quite busy, but a refreshing change of pace. The cogwheel train adds a charming touch to the experience. Finishing with gourmet wine tasting and lunch made the day feel relaxed and memorable.

His enthusiasm was infectious and really enhanced the overall experience. 5.00Our tour guide Yerai made the trip. He was incredibly informative,interesting with humour as well. Monsaratt was amazing. Views spectacular. The weak spot were the tapas. Stale bread, jamon so tough you could hardly swallow it, the wine was okay but not spectacular, of course we only tasted the cheaper wines. We had a nice day but skip the wine and tapas.

5.00Very well organized and managed tour! Easy bus ride to Montserrat with knowledgeable tour guide on drive! Many options for your time in Montserrat depending on your preference( hike, food, museum, views, tram, church) Guides were very helpful! Would recommend not going on a saturday as it was packed and the delay at the church cut into our wine tasting time but this was not the fault of tour company! wine tasting was great! great tapas and wine and beautiful scenery! Highly recommend!
