Tours start at 8:30 a.m. or 9:45 a.m. (depending on the season). Please arrive 20 minutes before the start time because check-in is required at our office before proceeding to the buses area.
Groups are limited to 20 people per guide, though in rare cases may increase to 22. Transportation is shared with other groups.
Comfortable clothes and walking shoes are recommended. Montserrat and the winery may have more extreme temperatures than Barcelona—check the forecast and dress accordingly. Bring water, especially in summer.
The tour is not wheelchair accessible, but service animals are allowed. For reduced mobility, contact us before booking to discuss arrangements.
Infants (3 years or younger) join free of charge but are not provided with car seats or meals.
Dietary restrictions or allergies are accommodated without advance notice.
We often work with boutique, family-owned wineries. Due to logistics, the winery may vary from Oller del Mas.
Tour timings are approximate and may vary due to traffic, weather, or unforeseen events. We recommend avoiding scheduling other activities immediately after the tour to allow for potential delays.

Once in Barcelona Nord Bus Station, check-in at our Castlexperience office. Arrive 20 minutes before the tour starts to check in before proceeding to the buses on the ground floor.

5.00This tour group was great! We almost missed our first tour due to oversleeping but they were extremely accommodating and got us on the very next one, which worked out for the better. Elena is one of the best! She really made sure that everyone was taken care of throughout the whole tour. We learned so much about the Monserrat and different wines during our wine tasting. She was so informative and I would recommend this tour to anyone looking to get a first look at the culture in Barcelona.

5.00We had an excellent time with tour guide Ale! He was full of knowledge and very funny! Everything was very organized. Montserrat was beautiful and we had sufficient time to walk around. The tapas lunch and wine were delicious. There was an opportunity after the lunch to purchase additional wine and browse the winery. The bus was comfortable with air conditioning and plenty of opportunities for bathroom breaks. A wonderful half day trip that I would highly recommend!

4.00This is a must do when you come to Barcelona. It’s the spiritual heart of the region. We got some wonderful history on the region the origins of the Black Madonna. When the monastery in church was founded. And the area is absolutely beautiful. Once we got to the area, our tour guide gave us an hour tour and gave us some more history, but from there he gave us three hours to walk around and explore. In my view, that is an excessive amount of time. We were able to go and see the Basilica and do a little hike, but for the most part we just sat around. There is not a ton to see.

5.00The tour was a great experience made even more fun by our guides. The site of Montserrat is naturally beautiful and a great hiking location (for a different time- although you have time for a short walk) the surrounding nature is phenomenal. It was a crowded weekend because of the 1000 year anniversary —so it was very crowded but still manageable. I definitely recommend taking the bus tour - it’s easy! The winery tour afterwards was super fun and the wine was quite good - and we went to the winery bar afterwards which was lovely with a great view! Mayi our guide was fun, informative and professional! She is a terrific guide!!
