  Had a fantastic time out on the water with Poto, Nicholas and a small bunch of likeminded international visitors. The Sofitel beach offers a beautiful departure point to the reef. Facilities are great with the boat ramp only a few yards away and everything prepared for you. We had 3 stops / during the morning each with its own unique experience. Sea scooters are so easy to use and the underwater visibility was outstanding using their full face masks. So much to look at above and below water with Nicholas filming the whole thing while leading the tour. Whilst snorkelling, Capt Poto ensures the boat is repositioned to ensure an effortless collection and transition to the next stop. Cant rate it highly enough.

  Just incredible! We saw dolphins, sharks, turtles, manta and stingrays and more. Nick and Poto made us feel so special! They clearly love their job. They had smiles on their face the whole tour. Nick expertly juggled guiding us, feeding the fish, and recording footage with his amazing camera. I was blown away by the video that Nick produced. The video production was National Geographic quality. They went above and beyond with us in every way. This tour was the highlight of our honeymoon.

  My husband and I did a sea scooter tour from our hotel in January. We are experienced snorklers and divers, but we still appreciated the sea scooters and the large face mask snorkels. The scooters were easy to use and gave you a lot of mobility under the water. The large masks allowed for better visibility. We had mixed rain and sun but still saw great water life. Would definitely recommend!

  Had a fantastic time on this excursion! Was particularly impressed with their flexibility as we decided on this very last minute and they fitted us in for a private tour. The office is right at the Sofitel beach which was extremely convenient for us as hotel guests. You need to be a reasonably confident (but not extremely strong) swimmer as the boat drops you off and then you get back to the beach by scooter, but the water is calm and clear and you are escorted by a member of staff the whole way, who points out the marine life and takes pictures and videos. It isn't at all difficult to do and you don't need any specialist skills - they give you an orientation before you get into the water and it's simply a question of holding the scooter and pressing a button. I felt very safe the whole time. The coral and the fish are stunning and it is made more special by the incredibly friendly stingrays who follow you around. It's definitely a once in a lifetime experience! I bought the video and photos as they are excellently produced. They sent it via dropbox and didn't remove it until I confirmed that I was somewhere with superfast broadband and had fully downloaded everything. Ensure you wear sunscreen or cover up as the sun is deceptively strong even if there are clouds in the sky. Highly recommend!

• Perfect last day

  We bought a pass for the sofitel for our last day before an evening flight. Kids were keen on this tour and Iwas a little skeptical. It was amazing! Nicholas was a great guide and it was so neat to see his underwater friends hang out with us for the whole time. Best coral I have seen anywhere on Tahiti/Moorea or Hawaii. Moray eel, staghorn coral and more. Kids aged 10 and 12 loved the added novelty of the scooter underwater and it helped with the mild current.

  The overall experience with Moorea Water Games is the best. The taxi picked us up at Hilton on the morning as scheduled and drove us to Sofitel Hotel, Nicolas was waiting us on their dock. Then he brought us to the first snorkeling spot, which is amazing. We used water scooters to play around, which is very fun. The scooter is very easy to control and is a big plus in the water. In the next 1 hour, we swam with 2 sting rays, who followed us the whole period. We saw many beautiful fishes, Nicolas also showed us sea horse, sea star, and many others. The coral is also gorgeous. After that, Nicolas brought us to find dolphins, if we were lucky enough, we could swim with them. The last snorkeling spot is also very special, it has a deep wall step with many corals on the edge. That day was my husband's birthday. Nicolas also made a very special video and pictures in USB for us. It was the best gift ever and leave us a very impressive memory. Highly recommend the tour, it is the best !! We will back again and definitely will go with Nicolas again!

• Visit of an Extraordinary garden!

  Discovering a garden like you have never seen before, with a very pro team and especially very friendly. The rays accompanied us throughout this magnificent underwater walk. Accessible really to all and again a big thank you to the team who took care of our 8 year old daughter who was afraid of rays and did not want to follow us... As a bonus a superb video montage and high quality souvenir photos!!
