  We had a wonderful boat tour on the Ganges along the Ghats during sunrise, a trip to the Buddhist pilgrimage site in Sarnath and the evening ceremony on the Ganges. We learned a lot about Indian culture, history and religion from our perfectly German speaking guide. Highly recommended. Thank you for that!

  We were in Varanasi with friends for 3.5 days and were greeted by Mr. Mukund Lal, Unique experiences, let yourself be guided. Very good! We experienced India from all sides. The German-speaking Mukund Lal brought us closer to India

  Sonu is a great guide and very attractive person with intensive inner energy, he told a lot about Varanasi history, legends of Gang. It was very interesting, comfortable and much more beautiful experience to meet the sunrise like that. also it was very fun time spent. Thanks a lot

  The boat ride at sunrise was spectacular! Sonu is an excellent guide, explaining all the details and with an extraordinary taste for its culture and its city, Varanasi. He managed to convey all the vibration that that city has throughout the boat journey. And don't forget the tea, so traditional. I highly recommend this trip!   I spent 3 days (courses in the morning, evening ceremony, gahts by day......) with Mukund Lai, his German is perfect, it was a very nice entertaining time with him (thank you). His knowledge of Indian culture, Varanasi, religions, was very detailed, and extensive, one notices, and sees that it is a pleasure for him to pass on this information, gladly and immediately with Mukund again.

  If you plan to visit Varanasi then book with Unique Experiences. We had an awesome two days with our friendly guide who by the way speaks perfect German. He gave us so much background information not only about the sights of Varanasi but whole India. Everything was perfectly organized.

  A perfect way to start the day in Varanasi - The morning boat trip was a very relaxed but interesting way to start a day in Varanasi and I would recommend to anyone who wants to learn a bit more about the city / culture and see the city from a different perspective. My guide (Mr Rohit) was informative, approachable and friendly, providing useful insight and answering even my most ridiculous questions. He took the tour at an easy pace, giving me plenty of time to absorb and not just be overwhelmed with information. What set the tour apart were the small touches I haven't seen provided elsewhere - meeting me directly at my hostel, a good cup of chai halfway, a trip to the sands on the opposite bank for some alone time etc. These were really appreciated and added to the relaxed feeling of the experience. As an aside, the young boatman had great control and his calm navigation added to the feeling of comfort.

  Very much enjoyed our early morning boat tour with Sonu. He is very polite and very attentive. Everything is very well organized and timed - from your first tea to the boat itself.
