We sail early in the morning, when the canals are calm and quiet — the best time for relaxed cruising and beautiful photos.
While many boats follow a fixed route with standard commentary, our tours are personal, informative, and fun. Every cruise feels different. We start along the iconic Canal Ring (UNESCO World Heritage List) and let the city guide us.
We sail with two beautiful boats.
At 8:00 and 10:00, we cruise on the Jonckvrouw —an intimate, fully electric Navigating Monument from 1928, once used by the Dutch government. It features sliding windows, a sunroof, an open aft deck, heating, and a light‑use toilet on board.
At 8:30 and 10:30, we sail on our iconic James Bond boat, a former taxi boat with a full 360° view, perfect for taking in the city from every angle. A toilet is also available on board.

5.00This small group canal cruise was a highlight of our Amsterdam trip. The boat was so comfortable and lovely drinks & snacks were provided. Our captain, Ollie, provided interesting information all along the way. We experienced Amsterdam in a whole new way cruising along the canals & it was truly beautiful & memorable.

5.00This tour was amazing! The guide was very knowledgeable about the history and was able to answer our questions. He even went on a detour or two because he saw something interesting that we might enjoy! It was phenomenal. The group was very small so you were able to ask as many questions as you want and really get a personalized experience. The location meeting point was a little bit confusing at first but we followed the directions and found it just fine. Each dock has their own address and since the boat hadn’t arrived yet we weren’t sure about the spot but hung out and other people showed up so it was fine. I would tell all my friends and family to do this tour over any of the commercial ones you see in Amsterdam

5.00We had a really wonderful time on our canal cruise. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we were made to feel very comfortable. The narration was informative and entertaining, and the refreshments (especially the sugar bread) were delicious. Would highly recommend!

5.00We started this gorgeous sunny Sunday with Captain Dave’s 8AM canal cruise. Our skipper was Jan, talking and navigating the boat, never skipped a beat, informative, entertaining and engaging, all at the same time. He shared history, told a lot of stories, and shared a long and comprehensive list of the Best of Amsterdam with us. He’s a gem. There were 12 of us on board the beautiful boat. We were treated to coffee, tea, and fresh squeezed orange juice, and a beautiful sweet apple bread. We just had breakfast before we came, otherwise, I would definitely try the bread, it looked so good. I loved the intimacy of the small group, and the cozy inside cabin. But we were also free to step outside at the back of the boat at anytime for however long we wanted. We practically had the canals all to ourselves for at least an hour. It was the best way to enjoy the canals, calm and so beautiful. This is a must-do in Amsterdam, and Captain Dave canal cruise is the best.

5.00The tour was so much fun! Gisela was an excellent guide. The boat was beautiful and very historical. Fun to see Amsterdam from the perspective of the canals. This was a highlight tour for us!
