Moni Ypapantis tou Kyriou
It was founded in 1367 by the Prior/Abbot of the Skete of Dupiani . In 1765, it was restored by Athanasios Vlachavas , a local leader in the area who was a family member of Thymios Vlachavas. Today, Ypapantis Monastery (literally "Monastery of the Purification [of the Virgin Mary]") is inactive and rarely visited, although the building is totaly restored.

5.00We had a wonderful experience! Not only did we ride the horses, but we were also told about the history of Meteora and Kalambaka! The route was beautiful, we could see a lot of picturesque places and take some photos. The owners of the farm were very frinedly, helpful and professional! We definitely recommend Meteora horse riding!

5.00The most amazing experience! Highly recommend. A very peaceful and unique way to explore the beautiful landscape. I did the 2 hour tour and it was totally worth it. My guide was very friendly and communicative and even took some photos for me.
