The Rocks
The oldest part of (white) Australia. It is where Captain Arthur Philip started the first penal settlement on 26 January 1788. Now a lively & romantic area with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.
Observatory Hill
The highest point in the inner-city, where in 1858 the Observatory was built to keep the timer and observe the Southern Cross. Now a museum, a cafe and a favourite location for weddings.

5.00Our driver was great and very informative. We really enjoyed seeing all the sights in Sydney. It was a perfect way to begin our first day in Sydney, especially after a 15 hour flight.

5.00As a solo traveller I definitely recommend this tour! In a city like Sydney it can be overwhelming to decide where to start exploring... This tour covers all the highlights. While driving through the different areas and seeing all the beautiful places from the vibrant city districts to the relaxed eastern suburbs with their stunning beaches Jelle provided us with historical background as well as insider knowledge and anecdotes in a charming and entertaining way. The four hours flew by in the blink of an eye!

5.00On 20 October 2025 we did the “Half-day Guided City Tour of Sydney” with Dingo Tours (Jelle). A perfect tour to see the highlights of Sydney. We were picked up from our hotel and the tour started at Sydney Observatory. This was followed by many other places such as Mrs Maquarie’s Chair, Kings Cross, Watsons Bay, Bondi Beach and Chinatown. Jelle tells many stories about the history and life of the Australians. We can highly recommend this tour to anyone.

5.00Such a great tour of the city and highlights, beaches etc. It was so fun and our guide was so informative and friendly! Took good care of us.
For the price it is the best place to stay. If you are a worker then this is the place for you.

5.00We stayed at The Great Southern Hotel George St Sydney. It is only 5 minutes walk from Central railway station, 5 minutes walk to China Town and the light rail is right outside the front door. It is not dear and the staff are friendly. Meals are not dear. I will stay there again. We stayed for 6 nights. If I could I would have stayed longer.

5.00Ben has lived in this region his entire life and is a wealth of information. We had plenty of stops where we could stretch our legs and admire the beautiful views. I was here a year ago, but saw quite a few new places. The other four passengers were fairly sedate and stayed with the Van on a couple of the walks. I requested to be dropped off at Coogee Beach so I could do the 4 mile coastal walk to Bondi Beach. It was a fabulous day for it!
