5.00Mourat, Laghdar and family will make you absolutely feel at home. While going to the market, cooking, and having diner we also learned a lot about Chefchaouen and it's history. We spend time in their wonderful family home that has been in their family for generations long, enjoying Geana music by both. Also, we now know the secrets of how to make the best Tajine dish! The best experience we had during our visit to Morocco. Don't miss out on this :)

5.00Cooking class was wonderful. The familiy is very, very welcoming. They are very enthusiastic about telling about their history and culture, about the food and ingredients, about what makes chefchouen so special besides being blue. The local market visit was very refreshing, and there was lots of fun and interesting talks with the local sellers. After picking the ingredients, the cooking was fun and the meal was lovely. The place itself was very beautiful.
Lovely authentic and traditional cooking experience and dinner with Mourad and Zohra! We loved the experience!

5.00We had a great time with this cooking class! It was already fun to go to the local market to pick fresh ingredients, from which we learnt a lot about what to look out for (e.g. size, color or shape of veggies and fruits). Seeing to the local butcher was also interesting! We ended up making two tajines (we were allowed to choose what we were going to make from a set of options). During preparations we again learnt a lot about food and why certain ingredients are prepped the way they are. It was Ramadan, so we ended up having iftar (first break of the fast of the day) together with a small group of the family, which taught us a lot more about the culture. Even after the cooking class we hung out with some family members for quite some time! I don't think you should expect this by default, but it says everything about the friendliness of the family!

5.00We had the honor of being able to experience this during Ramadan and being a part of the celebration when sun fell and breaking fast with locals I would now call friends. The class is very hands on and our hosts were incredibly talented and made us feel as if we entered our own home. When we come back we will be visiting again.

5.00Hey, Elías here. We visited Morocco for the first time, and we decided to visit this wonderful town called Chefchaouen. Fortunately for us, we were adopted by Mourad and his family who truly went their way to give us one of the best experiences we’ve ever had. Mourad is a gentleman. He’s smart, attentive, warm, and very friendly(A common trait amongst Moroccan people). Once you meet him, we can guarantee you’ll be in good hands. Class was hands on. We had an amazing teacher(Sora, we hope we wrote it correctly) and co-helpers that were present and overall very kind. To summarize, if you’re looking for a TRUE experience of actual Moroccan culinary culture. This is the booking you need. Me and my family(Brenda and Javier Elías) would like to extend our most sincere gratitude to Mourad for gifting us such a wonderful time and for making our first experience in Morocco a memorable one. 5.00I had an amazing time at the cooking class! I got to choose the dishes we made and Mourad the guide and translator explained me stuff about the town and sesasonal food during our market visit. Then I cooked with a Moroccan lady who showed me how to prepare delicious dishes, and Mourad and his friend were very entertaining the whole time. The food turned out delicious, and we spent the evening drinking tea and playing games. I also received the recipes after and I am looking forward to preparing them at home. I would recommend everyone to try this experience!
