Mount Agung is Bali’s highest and holiest mountain as it is believed as the home of God. It is located in Karangasem Regency, Bali, Indonesia. Mount Agung Bali stands 3,142 meters above sea level and can be summitted by physically fit hikers about 3 to 4 hours from Pasar Agung Temple starting point and 5 to 7 hours from Besakih Temple starting point. Mount Agung
Mount Agung is the highest peak in Bali, standing at over 3,000 meters (9,800 feet) above sea level. The trek is physically demanding and requires a good level of fitness. It's steeper and more difficult than Mount Batur, requiring stamina and determination to reach the summit. Climbing Mount Agung usually requires a permit, and it's recommended to go with a local guide for safety and navigation, as the trail can be challenging to follow, especially in the dark. Guides are also knowledgeable about the mountain and its cultural significance. From the summit, trekkers are rewarded with panoramic views of Bali and the surrounding islands, including Mount Rinjani on Lombok, on clear days. The sight of the crater and the surrounding landscape is awe-inspiring and makes the challenging ascent worthwhile.

The guide Made is experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and I felt so safe with him guiding and helping me reach the summit. Not to mention an amazing photographer! 5.00This is an unforgettable experience in Mount Batur sunrise tour. Ketut is the best. He made the experience so Memorable and special. His breakfast was fantastic and his explanations and patience throughout the hike really added to the experience. The hike and sunrise did not disappoint. The coffee plantation was a bonus and the view of the lake and farmland from above was an added experience.

5.00We highly recommend to come here once in a while because all the trips here are very memorable. We had a wonderful trekking to Mount Agung! We heard it was a challenging one, and we had never done a trekking before, so we were a bit anxious. But Wayan reassured us he would follow our pace and make sure everything was safe. It was well worth the 8-9 hours of walking in total!

5.00This is one of the best experiences, an incredible and unforgettable experience with Kadek, climbing Mount Agung at night to watch the sunset. He is kind, friendly, and experienced. He allowed us several breaks, offering us snacks, and lent us equipment. I recommend him 1000%. I also recommend spending time with him and his family to discover Balinese culture. They are truly kind and loving.

5.00Wayan is a very warm-hearted, helpful, and friendly family man who has a very nice accommodation and offers much more. The region is very authentic and full of wonderful beauty and originality. The accommodation is still new and tastefully furnished, and although not easy to find, staying there is a very special experience. He also offers volunteers the opportunity to serve at the school or go on hikes with sports enthusiasts. I definitely want to come back and highly recommend.👍

5.00We had an amazing trip with our guide Gede on Mt. Batur. The hike is beautiful and not too hard. A once in a lifetime experience to see the sunrise from a volcano, a must do! They also make a great breakfast and amazing pictures to memorate the experience. Thank you again Gede, for being the best guide we've ever had on a hike!

5.00What an incredible day! I had contacted before our private tour as I was planning to propose to my now fiancé. They were extremely accommodating and our guide Wayan went out of his way to find us a private spot and take lots of photos for us, a really nice man! Our driver Kadek also helped and was so nice to chat to. And it went perfectly, a nice challenging hike for a stunning view! Thank you so so much, I will be eternally grateful for making the proposal an experience to remember! The breakfast at the top was really good too, and we even had a visit to the coffee plantation afterwards. All in all a perfect start to the day!

5.00Perfect tour to see Mount Batur's lava, bathe in hot springs, lunch at the best spot over the rice fields and a wonderful tasting at a coffee plantation. Our driver Gede was kind, funny and amazing. Met Mr Black our guide who is also a great artist and inspiring person. The experience with the VW car was definitely unique. Thank you Gede. You are the best!

5.00Wayan was our driver that picked us up and drove us around. He was wonderful and spoke to us about Bali. He got us to the Jeeps safely and after the Jeeps took us to the Hot Springs, coffee and lunch. What a FABULOUS day Bali Trekking Tours!
