MOUNT BATUR SUNRISE AND WATERFALL ITINERARY:
01.45 – 02.30 am: Pick up in your villa/ hotel all around Bali.
03.45 am – Reaching the starting point and
03.50 am – Start your hike, 1.5 hours to the top.
05.50 am – Arrive at the top enjoying sunrise and having breakfast.
07.00 am – Exploring the main crater and then descend to different way.
08.30 am – Arrive back at car park and then visit farm.
09.30 am – Visiting the Tukad Cepung Waterfall
11.30 am – 12.00 pm – Estimate reaching your hotel.

Mount Batur
Mount Batur Sunrise Trekking and Hidden Waterfall is combine tours in one day. First, we will hike mount Batur for catch sunrise then stand atop the ancient Mount Batur volcano and watch the sun come up over the sea. Watch the sky turn to daylight, from dark, orange yellow and then bright. The next we will do is having breakfast, then surrounding the rim of the crater and make Instagrammable picture on the west spot. Thn afterward going down to the car park.
Tukad Cepung Waterfall
The next trip is visit waterfall, Tukad Cepung Waterfallis a magnificent waterfall inside a cave system that looks unusual when a spectacular beam of sun rays hit the top of the waterfall while lighting up the cave. In this waterfall you can take picture as much as you can, the best is come around 10 am to get sunshine come in the the cave and make great Instagrammable picture.

5.00Incredible sunrise hike with guide trekking at my pace. He went above and beyond with photography and recommended routes to avoid crowds. (The less visited crater loop trail was one of my highlights!) Driver, Nawe, was always on time and available the moment the activities ended. He happily recommended several waterfall options for the tour! Incredible staff all around and I will recommend this tour in the future!

5.00Putu looked after us and got us to the to the top safely. It was an amazing experience. Our driver was also excellent and took us to 3 spots on the way home.

5.00We had bad weather conditions, so we haven‘t seen much of the sunrise. But the hike was fun and the waterfall was stunning in the morning, because there haven’t been many other people.

5.00i had really great guides. the driver (ada) who picked us up was very kind and we had an lot of fun talking to him on the way back. we booked with the waterfall and he also showed us there. he even took amazing pictures of us wich was really cool. and the guide we had on the mountain (wayan) was also super nice! he made us breakfast at the top and even showed us how eggs could be cooked in the volcano. on the way up he always asked if we were fine and had a general very friendly spirit. he too took a lot of pictures.

5.00We had a great time on the hike with our door guide who was very friendly and informative. our driver putu was punctual, friendly and very easy to talk to. would definitely recommend both if your thinking of doing the hike.

5.00They say the hike takes 2 hours and we really did it in 2 hours (even with frequent breaks), in time to catch the entire the sunrise! For reference, I'm mid-twenties and boulder regularly for sport but I struggle to finish a 2.5-3km jog lol. The hike was def an intense workout but it wasn't as torturous/unbearable as I had feared! If you really can't take it, there are motorcycles along the way looking for tired passengers to bring up or down. I think for a **relatively** easy/short hike the views are SUPER worth it. It's high enough to be magical but not so high that you can't see the ground - you have views of the farmland and the lake below, the clouds and nearby mountains at eye level, and the stars above. Quite breathtaking. Guide and driver were great. We didn't proceed with the waterfall segment because my dad sprained his knee on the down trek. But getting a partial refund was very seamless. The description says it's a visit to Tukad Cepung waterfall but our driver said actually we can choose between Tukad Cepung and Tegenungan. Our driver said no swimming at Tukad Cepung. I've been to Tegenungan on a previous visit to Bali and it was A LOT of steep stairs up and down, maybe not the best idea after an intense hike. Can swim there tho. Also I suspect there isn't much of a "guide" at the waterfall, it seemed like the driver will just drop you off there.
