This iconic, extremely-active volcano draws many visitors from around the world with its beauty and promise of adventure. From the starting point, which is located right in the bottom of the mountain, trek for around 2 hours up to the peak.
From the top, you will experience a scenic sunrise view and the green caldera around the volcano. Witness a thick blanket of darkness be replaced by glistening orange and gold rays, bursting from the silhouette of Mount Agung with the glassy untouched sheen of Lake Batur. Your guide will make you delicious eggs cooked with the steam from the volcano.
As your descent begins, you will explore three younger craters while taking in the amazing volcanic landscape. You have an option to visit a coffee plantation site to enjoy a delicious cup of local Luwak coffee before heading back to your hotel.

5.00The driver and guide are very kind, they speak English. The driver welcomed us in front of our accomodation and drove us to the parking lot under the mountain where the guide was waiting for us and walked with us to the summit, where he prepared a delicious breakfast and we experienced one of the most beautiful sunrises ever. The climb to the top is challenging but worth it, you need to have appropriate shoes especially for the descent because the volcanic rocks are quite slippery, but the guide is always present and ready to assist.

5.00Our driver Hari was more than on time to pick us up at our hotel in Ubud. Excellent and sympathic driver with patience. He gave us all the time we need. The walk up the mountain was quite rough but absolutely worth it. Our guide took many beautiful pictures of us and was nice to talk with. Sincerly recommand! Thank You! Annelies & Björn

5.00Had a great time with this trip up mount batur. Brendan our guide was so friendly and helpful. He made the entire trip easy by keeping us entertained with his personality. He took many photos and videos for us at the top and the hot chocolate and breakfast made was delicious. I would thoroughly recommend him as a guide. The climb is not so bad as long as you are decently fit, I’d recommend just wearing a good pair of shoes with solid grip as some of the paths can be very slippy. Especially on the way down. After we went to a hot spring which was great to relax our muscles. Definitely book with this company and request Brendan for a good time.

5.00Unreal! Got picked up from our villa in Ubud at 2:30 and got driven out. Had the best guide, Brendan, really good energy and wouldn’t let us miss any photo op. Breakfast and coffee was great and could hire blanket at the summit when it got cold. Unreal view from the summit! Headed back down and visited the hot springs, again unreal, then dropped back at our villa. Highly recommend.

5.00Gokong was a good driver. Picked me up by the bottom of the mountain in his jeep and then we took a short drive up. We got about an hour or so before sunrise and waited. Its a bit chilly do bring a jacket. Breakfast was included, a small sandwich, egg and a drink. There was 1 restroom around and its paid so bring some cash. Tons of jeeps around, everyone was quite excited and happy to watch a sunrise. Highly recommend this adventure in Bali.

5.00The tour was a really great experience. From the beginning till the end, everything was taking care of. The host and other people from this organisation were very friendly and you can notice that they like their job and will do a lot to give you a great experience. We had a sunrise tour including hotspring , coffee plantation and black lava tour. This tour gives you the opportunity to see several hotspots op Bali. Special thanks to Sentana!
